Splashtop is great! I am on an Apple Macbook at home doing a remote connection to a Macintosh computer in another city. The service is very fast and with the "disable remote screen" set to off, no sluggish jerky movements.
- Remote operation of applications and servers very quickly
- Read and reply emails just like being there in the office
- Print to any printer in the company just like being there
- Ease of log in and nice smooth speed makes Splashtop great!
- Never get "timed out" or disconnected from long periods of time or breaks
- Sometimes there is an issue with "screenshot" not working
- Privacy from others viewing your screen and slowing down your connection
- Splashtop really was a game changer for me not getting behind in my work during COVID sickness and shutdowns
- We were able to continue to do production even when I at home working remote
- Splashtop has been much smoother and faster than the two other apps I tried
Depending on your level of security high or low, this app does the job! I have noticed after switching to Splashtop, I no longer get any kind of strange pop ups or emails pertaining to paying for better connection speeds and such.
After the first install and set up, maybe 10 minutes. From there on out, it is just a matter of seconds to connect and get to work.
