Overall Satisfaction with SurveyMonkey
We use SurveyMonkey for both gathering feedback from our employees, as well as our clients. It is a great way for us to communicate with and get feedback from employees before making a business decision that may have an impact on them - or just to see how they feel about certain aspects or changes within the business.
- It helped to determine if our business was going to switch to a new payroll software based on the employee feedback of whether one of its main features would actually be wanted or not.
- It helps to improve individual instructor's classes based on survey feedback from our clients.
- It helped us to gauge the interest in whether or not a pool of people wanted to become instructors.

It does everything a survey software should do, and it does it very well. I can't speak for how well it would work for a business that was surveying tens of thousands of people - but for a small business of 50 employees with a couple of thousand clients, it does everything it needs to do.
I have never had to use the support for SurveyMonkey - this goes to show that it is fairly intuitive and easy to use and doesn't have too many issues. Never had to reach out to ask a question on how something worked, nor ever needed assistance with something that wasn't working properly.
SurveyMonkey really excels in the survey design aspect of the surveying process. They have so many different question types that you can use to create your questions. The analytics and reporting are basic but ok for those wanting simple insights into their survey answers. Their free plan should suffice for any business that needs the fundamentals of surveying - i.e. survey builder, sharing, and viewing answers.
