Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

The best thing about TeamViewer is being a light weight software, and being easy to use. We usually use it in the development department and customers support. It's very helpful in cases such as when a senior [employee] wants to provide his assistance to a junior [employee] working remotely. It's also very helpful for the customer support that we provide to our customers.
  • One of our customers is a hospital, whenever they have a problem they contact us to schedule a meeting using TeamViewer. Then we use TeamViewer to solve their issues and show them how to do it.
  • Developers tend to use it in order to see how a senior [employee] could solve some issues in an action.
  • The first thing I would recommend is providing a new method to connect with other computers, like using a QR code.
  • Simplifying the UI would be preferred, when calling another user there's no need for an additional number of buttons on the screen.
  • With a well-suited tool like TeamViewer, we were able to provide support at a low cost.
  • TeamViewer provided a free method to manage servers and workstations.
With Skype and Google Hangouts, you have to be registered in order to use it, for instance, you need a Gmail account to use Hangouts. However, with TeamViewer you won't need anything other than the software itself. Other than its cost, TeamViewer lets you control others' computers after getting their permission, but in Skype and Hangouts this feature isn't listed.
The customer support isn't always a suited field for TeamViewer, it may be suitable for customers that use software products that your company provided. And helping other colleagues in your company that don't need TeamViewer all the time because it would be time and effort consuming to do it this way every time, sometimes a call would be enough.
