Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

I use TeamViewer on a more personal and individualized level. Every once in a while I'll need it to help a colleague solve a problem remotely. I also use it to connect to my own remote systems in order to administer various functions when needed. TeamViewer has consistently worked the best for my screen sharing needs.
  • Screen sharing with high quality feeds.
  • Ability to manage computers remotely with little setup.
  • A good deal of security is involved which makes it easy to rely on.
  • Explaining some functions or behaviors might be helpful, such as when trying to forward commands to a remote device.
  • Positive is that it's free, no real negatives there.
I've used a few different screen sharing and conference tools and each of them have their strengths and weaknesses. I would say that TeamViewer holds its own when using it as a remote management system. Other tools either cost more or don't have the same functionality, or aren't geared towards remote sharing in that way.
TeamViewer is great for remote device management, however it would probably not be as great as a sort of conference tool. It has a lot of functions you can use to control your remote device so you're not having to remember keyboard shortcuts or workarounds. The video and sound quality are usually pretty good if needed.
