Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
At our organization we use TeamViewer across our Americas Division by our Information Technology, Engineering, and Technical Support (mechanical and elector-mechanical) departments. All three use TeamViewer as a similar way to provide remote support for our internal and external "customers"; it's being used to remote in to computers as well as mobile devices.
TeamViewer is also being used to host meetings that require sharing your screen.

- TeamViewer is extremely easy to deploy to different devices; it can be deployed via the use of a GPO.
- Managing of users in TeamViewer is another thing that is done well; we can add users to groups as well as share those groups with other team members which is extremely helpful in environments with large groups of teams responsible for different groups of users.
- TeamViewer does integration with other applications well, with Outlook being the most popular one in my opinion. With Outlook and TeamViewer integration you can see if others on the email thread are available for remote connection or not.
- My number one proposed improvement for TeamViewer would be to improve the file transfer speed; it can be slow at times even on faster connections.
- Another improvement I have in mind is to give users ability to build more information into the "Remote System Information" to include a list of installed software on the computer or apps on the mobile device.
- TeamViewer Host for iOS would be a great improvement.
- TeamViewer had a positive impact on our business by providing us with a tool that allows us to provide support to any user across the globe that has a internet connection.
- TeamViewer provided a single solution that all of the business units can agree to use since it has all the needed features; this let us as an organization consolidate into one application that can be used.
- While consolidating to one application for remote support we can purchase more licensing which provides better pricing hence better return on investment.
After using WebEx, LogMeIn, and Join.me we went with TeamViewer since it had all the required features for all the users across all the business units in our division. TeamViewer not only had the best list of features, but it also had the easiest way to deploy it across all our platforms, the best user interface in compartment to all the other applications we evaluated, and is easiest to use day to day.
