Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
TeamViewer is used to allow access to systems that we don't want or can't have open the usual ports for RDP or another built-in application for gaining remote access to systems. In this time of pandemic and working [remotely] at home or another location it is imperative to be able to access applications and systems remotely, but securely and with little hassle.
- Remote access to servers with an at terminal like experience
- Easy access to multiple systems with little setup and hassle
- Secure communication with multifactor authentication
- The interface can be a little confusing to start with, but a little invested time overcomes this
- Better organization for using with multiple systems
- It is a solid program with few faults I can think of
- Remote access is crucial for remote management in our business
- Time savings from having access to multiple servers at once
- Multi-user support sessions is a game changer
Honestly, we use both products, but for those instances where we do not have a VPN tunnel to our remote sites or datacenters, TeamViewer is a great option for remote access. The product offering is well developed, mature, and had a large host of features that makes it a program that I love using.
