Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
I have used it for remote access of site engineers for technical support of Telco nodes. The application is used for screen sharing over the internet without the need for a corporate intranet or VPN as well as for file transfer from one PC to another which is very helpful during remote troubleshooting sessions
- Remote access
- File transfer
- Screen share
- Security. Verified identity and secure authentication are still a problem.
- Voice calls during screen share are not available
- Slowness is still a problem
- Saving travel costs
- I don't have any hard figures though
- Improved time to restore
TeamViewer doesn't stack up against them at all.
AnyDesk is way faster than teamviewer & has a voice calling facility along with a screen share
Cisco Webex & Microsoft Teams are more secure than teamviewer & because of these solutions are offered as a cloud application (SaaS) they have increased acceptability across the organizations & are easier to connect over them even without the VPN

No

No
Did implementation of TeamViewer go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy TeamViewer again?
No
The implementation was quite straightforward & easy. All you have to do is to apply the license that you bought & you're good to go.
The license limits the number of users & makes a session for unlimited time duration which is not the case in a FREE version of the application

These might be the latest additions. We've not used any of them
