Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

I found out that AnyViewer does not support Intel Macs. This is a problem, since I have a very expensive Intel MacBook Pro that I am not willing to replace. TeamViewer has been a lifesaver to me. I save myself hours of travel time helping clients. I just wish they had more choices for small businesses as far as pricing goes.
I have over 100 computers that I manage using TeamViewer across the country. It has been extremely useful to me, however, the price has almost doubled since I had started paying for their service five years ago from $600+ to almost $1200 per year. There are competitive companies that offer the same service for $199 per year. Although they have been great, I will be forced to switch.

Pros

  • makes it easy to help clients
  • assist any time anywhere even from my phone
  • help troubleshoot issues with other support companies even when I am not there.

Cons

  • smaller packages for smaller businesses.
  • Charge less money.
  • Change that awful new interface
  • Time is everything.

Since I do work with doctors, attorneys and financial advisors security is very important. I take full advantage of this and only use TeamViewer with the permission of the client, making them fully aware of what I am doing and when I am doing it. There has to be a system of complete trust between consultant and client. TeamViewer helps to allow this.
If someone asked me to recommend them, I could not. I would recommend them if they could come down in price for a small single person business like mine, but, they don't. I am not grandfathered into anything as I was told when I signed up. I am stuck if I stay with them paying an ENORMOUS amount of money.
