Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We use TriNet across the entire organization. We use TriNet for benefits administration and HR across multiple states.
  • Provides benefits.
  • Management of employees in multiple states.
  • Provides information for employment law in multiple states.
  • Onboarding needs improvement (e.g. enabling employee self-onboarding without requiring a lot of personal information like their home address and SSN).
  • Reporting has improved recently, but is still not very fast.
My HR contact is great and responsive. She does a good job answering questions and facilitating escalation to internal teams or support. Contacting TriNet support directly is tedious.
They're modernizing the UI, but there are still a lot of quirks and bugs.
  • Facilitation of managing remote employees in multiple states.
It's cheaper than Insperity and ADP, especially benefits. The UI not as good as Insperity from sales demos.
Suited for:
  • Small business benefits administration.
  • HR and benefits across multiple states.
