TriNet Review
Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
We use TriNet to process our payroll and be our HR and Benefits provider.
We like the platform and reporting upgrades that have happened as of late.
The integration of the platform with other services like background checks is very convenient user friendly.

Pros
- The timekeeping module and mobile application is a big plus for us.
- Benefit selection was an easy understandable process for me.
- Reporting is very helpful.
Cons
- The payroll is a bit restrictive. I couldn't seem to get my first PR Rep to understand a deduction I needed for the company officer on the payroll. I gave up then was shortly transferred to a new rep. I haven't brought up the issue again.
- Currently not using the Paid Time off module. I was given 2 choices and have not chosen either yet. I am still approving time off internally, but the application on the paychecks works fine.
- The impact by using TriNet has mainly been on the financial side of the business. From savings on the administrative fees to savings on employee benefits versus our prior PEO.
- We have added a company 401(k) and matching through TriNet and it was almost seamless with the setup and processing.
- No negatives.
The reporting was very helpful during the pandemic.
TriNet kept us up to date with rules and regulations.
