Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
TriNet is our company partner for all HR outsourced services of payroll, benefits, time and attendance, and applicant tracking.
- TriNet benefit offerings are very good. The team assigned to help with everything from plan design and cost through employee Open Enrollment is strong.
- TriNet's platform is acceptable in today's market - there are areas in which integration could be stronger, but they are on the plus side of what we need and open to feedback and enhancements.
- TriNet was and continues to be cost-effective. They have a straightforward, transparent method of charging for services.
- We found their Performance Module un-customizable for our needs. We do not use it and do not foresee ever being able to use it successfully.
- We find the lack of ability to upload / attach documents to employee files frustrating.
- We find the inability to view an employee's full work week extremely dysfunctional. The Time Off platform and Time and Labor do not mesh. except in the final stages of payroll. An employee cannot see the time worked and time requested from PTO in one place.
- TriNet Connect360 has its benefits, (access to more specifically trained workers), but still needs to follow up from our Account Executive for sensitive operations as the general mailbox does not know or seemingly cares to know the background. Many assumptions are made of what is needed that cause larger issues.
- Turnover of HR Business Partners. We have had four assigned representatives in a little more than a year. This results in far too much time being spent explaining prior situations (as nothing can be uploaded).
- The training module, while robust does not allow for a "master user" who can assign and monitor training. There is also no way to automate training certificates once completed to go to an individual.
- TriNet has allowed us to stay within budget and streamline our payroll and benefits to one primary vendor.
- TriNet has caused frustration in not being able to have all our information in one place (no ability to upload data) and costs are high for ancillary services (AAP for example).
- TriNet has given us access back to Jackson Lewis, a trusted resource for Employment Law.
TriNet has offered model policies and an opportunity for us to "see what others are doing", rather than trying to make our rules-based only on Federal, State, and Local mandates with no format or inter-relationship to current best practices.
TriNet came in as the most comprehensive, cost effective product with a local presence.
