Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We use TriNet as a PEO, they handle our Payroll Benefits and HR.

Pros

  • Accuracy of Employees File Information
  • Open Enrollment and ongoing Employee Enrollment in Benefits
  • Onboarding Employees

Cons

  • The Case Management is not responsive, takes weeks to resolve, cases are closed before they are even addressed, seems like the people who read the cases just skim the issues and don't take the time to resolve.
  • The time it takes to process the payroll, once submitted, even weeks with no terminations or issues takes 5 hours or more from the time it is submitted.
  • Requesting forms needed by employees takes weeks to get done, and no one seems to know who should be filling out what forms (ie Centree or 360)
  • Cost of Benefits
  • Offering a greater choice of Benefits
  • Help with HR Compliance
  • Reduce time spent on Payroll, Benefits and HR Compliance
Very easy to use and maneuver thru out the platform, easy to get a hold of someone, chat, call, email, The payroll and Time-off areas are great, and very time saving.
The people in the chat area, usually always have to create a case and get outside help, unless it is an easy questions. Sometimes they can get you to the correct area right away. The phone call is the way to go, seems that these employees are more knowledgeable and can get you answers. I use to love my Account Manager, but then they made a change.
These were specifically for Payroll and some HR, we did not use the PEO options for these companies. When we decided to go with a PEO these two companies either did have what TriNet offered, the prices were much higher. The switch over to TriNet was much easier than the previous switches.

Once you learn all of the moving pieces, it is very easy to manage the payroll functions, it is very intuitive letting you know any information you need to know right in the Payroll area. The enrollment and benefits are greatly improved, making it very easy for employees to enroll and see what their options are. They are always working to make improvements to the platform, and the processes. My biggest issue is turnaround time for any issues to be acknowledged, addressed and fixed. (IE Cases and Account Management)
