Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro
SECURA Insurance is managed within the HR department. We use the ESS and MSS and set up roles to all associates. We utilize Recruit, On Boarding, and Salary Planning. We have associates update their own address, direct deposit and tax forms and they can print their pay statements, W2 and 1095 forms as well. Managers have access to all job information, review, and career. We have been making great strides in creating reports and scheduling them to run.
Pros
- I like that they stay current and plan ahead of legislative changes.
- They offer training online, by webcast, online class, recordings to cover everything you might be in need of.
Cons
- PPAC, all the steps to keep our information as accurate as possible or the reviewing of data to update and correct associate information. The entire area is complicated.
- Org charts, improving the functions for many print options, adding open positions.
- Support is beginning to be slow in responding when tickets are submitted
- Be watchful of year end and system changes that do not affect year end compliance.
- We are using the Recruit and OnBaord to move their details into UKG Core which does save time in duplicate entry.
- When creating reports from Recruit and Core there are various gaps as you can't create one report with all data as the products are separate.

We do receive most outcomes. Ultimate isn't the cheapest solution, but customer service weighs heavy for me.
Ease of use is essential and it is for the most part. As a long time customer and user of the 'back-office' solution the one click to get somewhere or to make changes is AWESOME. The use of the 'web' product you have to go thru wizards which can be many clicks to do a super simple task of changing a supervisor.

We are a long time client of Ultimate and the last evaluation of a full HRIS/Payroll solution has been more than 5 years.
I do keep my eye and have conversations with some other HRIS vendors so I know what is being offered by them and compare to UKG.

There are many times I have received exceptional support. During the hurricanes in Florida back when we first started (early 2000's) when the support staff were going to different locations.
