Overall Satisfaction with UserTesting

UserTesting is being used by my organization to capture user feedback on various websites that my department is producing. This allows us to get critical feedback early in the development cycle and adjust our approach as required. We have found the user feedback to be very helpful in our development process and continued use of UserTesting will help us to further refine our approach.

Pros

  • UserTesting interface is very easy to use.
  • We are notified immediately when we receive feedback.
  • UserTesting customer support has been very quick and responsive when we have issues and questions.

Cons

  • Some of the documentation is rather sparse.
  • I'd like to see a bit better dashboard on the info gathered.
  • Their pricing structure is rather rigid for our tastes.
  • Faster development cycle.
  • Better quality products going out to market.
  • Happier developers because less rework is involved per development cycle.
The overall support for UserTesting has been excellent for us. When we have had an issue and/or question, we have been very happy with the response times to those items. Customer support has been very responsive and professional in our dealings with them. Wish all companies had the level of response that UserTesting does quite frankly!
The overall usability is good for UserTesting. We have been able to get surveys up and running with minimal training and contacting customer support. The dashboard is a bit dated for our taste, but still useful. The website is intuitive to use and easy to understand. The feedback we receive is delivered in a manner that helps us greatly.
We have benefited greatly from being able to collect authentic customer feedback. UserTesting really excels in this regard. This has allowed us to really focus our digital experience for our targeted customers and gave us valuable feedback on ideas and concepts we are currently developing. We have taken the feedback and brought it into our development cycle to allow us to get the best product out to market as quickly as possible.
When we were evaluating different website for our user testing needs, we evaluated three:

1. UserTesting
2. PlaybookUX
3. TryMyUI

UserTesting came out the winner because to us it offered the greatest features and best return on our investment. We felt UserTesting was the easiest to use right out of the box with minimal training. We liked the clear pricing structure as well.
UserTesting is doing a great job for our needs and I would highly recommend them. UserTesting makes it easy to setup a survey and get it published quickly so we can get immediate feedback on websites and concepts we are developing. We have found that the feedback is incredibly useful in our development process. There was not much training involved to get us up and running quickly.
