Overall Satisfaction with VWO

VWO is being used to analyze client's sites and improve their conversion rates. It addresses issues related to UX or poor conversion performance. We use this tool across a variety of templates and sites to gather insights on user journeys and flows.
  • Insights.
  • Reporting.
  • Integration.
  • Hard to build tests when dealing with dynamic content.
  • The WYSIWYG can be confusing as most tests require development.
  • It would be good to have an easier integration with Google Analytics.
  • Increased CR for clients.
  • Increase in sales.
  • A better understanding of how users navigate thought the sites.
VWO is way more comprehensive and powerful. We selected VWO because of multiple factors including pricing, capabilities, and last but not least, support. It's quite important to be able to liaise with the platform when building tests.
It can be quite tricky to implement tests when you don't know JS.

Using VWO

3 - The people using VWO in our organisation are a CRO manager, a data analyst and the head of data analytics. VWO is being used in the data and analytics department.
2 - In order to support VWO you will need at least, one analytics person to create the hypothesis and the testing plan as well as a developper if you need to create tests that require changing dynamic content.
  • Conversion rate optimisation
  • User experience optimisation
  • Conversion funnel analysis
  • We might use it more to analyse user journeys through a site
VWO is one of the leader in the CRO platform game and we feel it is quite powerful if you know how to develop (JS). It incorporates a lot of interesting features as well as good integrations.

Evaluating VWO and Competitors

  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
Usability is for us the most important, we needed a platform that was quite easy to deploy as well as use on a day to day basis. CRO is an iterative process therfore we need the software to be made for it and intgrates all the features needed to conduct test for A to Z.
If I had to do it again I would look more into the way you can create tests and the limitations of the WYSIWYG editors. All the platforms tend do say creating tests is as easy as plug and play but when you look deeper into it, you'll notive that development tends to be involved if you one to create in-depth testing.
