Webex Calling
Overall Satisfaction with Webex Calling
We're a Cisco partner selling the whole Webex Collaboration suite, focusing on Webex Calling. Internally, we're using Webex Calling for our daily telephony. The Webex App is a great tool for collaboration. Webex Calling just integrates smoothly into the app and makes telephony easy as it is. As a softphone solution, it does not matter where I am working: just connecting to the internet and I'm ready to go. Features like SNR, seamless handover when switching networks, switching a call from a mobile to a pc, and escalating plain phone calls to full-featured Webex Meetings make a great overall calling experience.
Pros
- PSTN telephony.
- Presence and collaboration.
Cons
- Features are tracked via AHA, lots of them are currently getting addressed.
- Easier configuration.
- No on-prem PBX needed
- SNR via Webex App on any device.
Besides calling, we're using Webex Meeting and Webex Teams in order to have the full-featured collaboration experience. The Webex Suite has become our most important communication tool.
The Webex Calling solution is fully integrated into the Webex suite—no need for a separate solution for messaging, conferencing, or telephony. The Webex suite is built with privacy and encryption in focus, lots of compliance configurations can be configured easily.
We've been using BroadCloud Carrier in the past, so it was easy to migrate WxC.
