Webex Calling
Overall Satisfaction with Webex Calling
The use of Webex Calling has allowed ease of access to deliver PSTN calls to remote users, without the need of a VPN or Expressway type MRA solution. This has given our workforce a much more agile stance and allowed for us to continue working from any remote locations during the pandemic. We have even had users stuck in other countries [who] use this solution over the internet.
- Fast deployment
- Ease of management
- Great voice quality
- Connectivity to contact centres
- Better features
- Call hold resume on other devices
- No heavy hardware costs
- Can manage users more efficiently
- Lower calling costs, as people are using Webex to call directly from mobiles
We have combined our host collaboration system, Cisco Unified communications manager via Expressway systems, to allow inter calling between the new and the old systems. This has allowed the company an easy transition between both systems, in most cases using the same software installed on users' PCs, so without the admin overhead of new software.
After careful consideration of the Webex security documents and white papers, we were able to see that the data is not only encrypted at rest but also in transit. This allowed us to remain with our current security stance when using it. The ease of contacting someone in another organization is so much simpler than other solutions.
Much easier to manage users and deploy systems and numbers through the Webex control hub. The ease of contacting someone in another organization is also much simpler and easier to achieve in the Webex solution, over Microsoft Teams. The connection to the PSTN network in Webex is also all completed for you at the same time as deployment.
