Overall Satisfaction with Webex Calling

Webex Calling is without a doubt, one of the biggest meetings & collaboration tools we use at our company, but while it is great, and especially secure, it is not our company standard for communications.
  • Security is well designed
  • Recording a call is simple and easy
  • High quality sound and video
  • Pro version is very expensive compared to alternatives
  • Slowest of our communication tools to boot up
  • Secure platform for communications is always important to us (long term ROI)
  • Downtime in joining calls/meetings can be frustrating (negative impact)
Webex Contact Center and Huddle Spaces are also used in our environment. Integration between the tools is seamless and polished. From a Unified Communications standpoint, Cisco Calling is one of many collaboration tools that we use.
Security will always be the number one priority at our company. Therefore, Webex Calling has been vetted in our environment to ensure that encryption of our calls and meetings are intact, while maintaining a positive end user experience. Host settings are easy to use and manage, which leads to more time interacting with meeting participants. We firmly believe in the security behind Cisco tools like Webex Calling.
  • Zoom
Webex Calling is great, and has very similar features to Zoom. I would actually see that we prefer Zoom merely because of the price point. If the price point of both products were the same, we would definitely be more content with using Webex Calling as the standard.

I think Webex Calling is a great tool, especially for a company that does have international calls quite frequent. The user interface is simplistic, but streamlined, leading to a user favorite, to be utilized from anywhere in the world.

For the non-pro version, there are much better alternatives in the market. We experience a lot of slowness in joining calls/meetings.
