Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

We used Webex Meetings to host webinars for 100-500 members within our organization. Each webinar featured slides, speakers, video, and screen sharing.
  • Compatible across many browsers/systems.
  • Professional appearance.
  • A known name in the meeting space.
  • Installed app required.
  • Many technical glitches.
  • Slow and inferior support.
  • Lost affiliate partner due to technical issues.
  • Lower webinar attendance due to platform issues.
  • Unable to properly capture leads due to lack of integration to CRM.
Webex is the bottom of the barrel for all of the webinar tools we have purchased or tested. We inherited Webex in company acquisition. I would never select it and never recommend it.
The support provided was completely inadequate. The entire support team appeared to be based overseas and any responses took a minimum of a day to receive. They rarely had any answers or resolution for problems. The most responsive person at the company was our account manager, but they were only responsive if it was related to our contract renewal.
We found Webex to be continually error-prone and frustrating. We host 100+ webinars a year and everyone on WebEx was plagued by many users with technical issues. It became so bad that we had members who would skip attending webinars and wait for us to post the video to our member portal later just because of the technical issues. I do not see any scenarios where it is well suited because, in my experience, it is a fundamentally flawed program that is unreliable.

Using Webex Meetings

The platform was wholly unreliable. On one occasion, an audience member was unmuted randomly by the system and the event admin was unable to mute them due to a technical glitch. On another occasion, the entire webcast dropped without explanation. On multiple occasions, we ran Webex's logging software and supplied the logs to Webex with no answer and no resolution.
