Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings
I use Webex to communicate with inter-company employees and for softphone capabilities for outside connections. I also use Webex to log in to meetings and to hold impromptu meetings with colleagues. Webex also handles my voicemail capabilities. I also have a bunch of chats with groups of people on specific projects.
- Identifying who is online and their status
- Communicating with people through voice, video, or text
- Handling incoming voice calls
- Consistently showing the status of people
- Screen share working on screens connected through hardware video outputs
- Reducing the size of the window when snapped to a quadrant
- Eases communication between people
- Facilitates the exchange of ideas
The entire company has it installed but not everyone uses it for chatting. Most people who take phone calls use the soft phone services.
Webex has better integration with voice, chat, and video. It's a one-stop communication hub. Teams can't handle softphone capabilities. Skype didn't do video chat well. Teams is a little disjointed between the chats, which I do often, and the meetings, which I do rarely. Teams seems more set up for meetings. I'd rather have one communication app to use since people do both and it's unwieldy to use Teams and Webex.
