Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

To submit expenses each month in an easy and straightforward way. The app also allows me to submit expenses on the go when I am visiting customers or colleagues. My colleagues use Webexpenses not only for travel expenses but also for benefits provided by the company on a contribution basis.

Pros

  • Good user interface
  • Easy to use
  • Allows you to upload photos and PDFs

Cons

  • Taking photos in the app of receipts can be a challenge
  • More detail in the description fields
  • Allow for copying previous month submissions to then edit
  • Takes less time to use
  • Quick operation and little lag time
  • Easy for office managers to approve claims quickly
I would give it this rating because while the portal is quite straightforward to use and quick to load on the PC, the web app on Android could do with being more streamlined and easier to use, especially when taking pictures of receipts, train tickets, and invoices. Improvement here would make a difference.

I would recommend Webexpenses, particularly for office workers and those who travel frequently for business, or work from home and need to submit expenses for incidentals or allowances for home working. The app is not as user-friendly as the web portal and could be more comprehensive and streamlined in its operation.
