Overall Satisfaction with Wix
I have used Wix to create simple websites for clients
- User friendly web design
- free and paid versions
- Has great templates to start with
- Not great for more involved websites. There aren't enough tools and plugins.
- Some things are customizable, others are not
- Low cost option for web design.
- WordPress and Squarespace
WordPress is much more involved and has a lot more tools. This is better for someone with more computer savvy, or who wants to have complete control of their design. Wix is similar to Squarespace in that its strength is in its templates that are simple to work with. You could get a very simple website up in an hour if you wanted to. I find Squarespace and Wix to be about on par with each other.

- I didn't realize people made resume websites. I think it can add something special to a candidate, especially if you are in a creative field. Great way to showcase a portfolio.
