Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

We use to struggle with managing huge workloads coming in in rapid successions which in turn made it difficult to determine shifting priorities. Since using Wrike, we can manage the flow of incoming work and create visibility on what individuals are working on which in turn help us plan new development months ahead and allow us to better plan our resources and priorities.
  • Wrike is great for recording a history of a task's discussions so you do not have to go sift through e-mail threads.
  • The Gantt feature and dependencies make it very easy to readjust large complex plans.
  • Request forms are great for ensuring the right information is captured for each task so that the assignee knows exactly what they need.
  • Request forms could use a custom numbered prefix feature automatically keeping count and adding the next number in the line for each task created via a specific form.
  • A Mass "find and replace" feature for task titles would help when needing to rename existing tasks titles.
  • Ability to add in a request from to be completed inside another request from.
  • Blueprint feature where options can be specified inside a blueprint and when "create from" is selected, these options are available to select which determines the blueprint structure created.
  • Add an "effort" input into request forms, automatically adding the entered effort into the task's effort tab. Currently, you have to manually go and fill that in, which is not viable for a mass amount of tasks getting created daily.
  • Time is money and we cannot always work as fast as we want due to Wrike being quite slow in applying and responding to changes. When creating from blueprints I have to hit refresh multiple times before my project appears fully in the designated folder.
  • Request forms help sort and streamline the flow of incoming work, which was a very daunting task to try and manage before. This feature has helped in preventing the ball from being dropped on incoming work that may have been overlooked otherwise and could have been costly.
  • Wrike has helped create visibility in various areas that were previously only visible to the manager/responsible party. We use Wrike for tracking leave, procurement, and expense claims, which saves on using a SAGE-like program

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

No

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

We have a high-mix, low-volume production department as well as a development department. Wrike works well for the development side planning as it is more project-based but not so great for the production side planning, which is a shame as it would be great if both departments could work on the same platform to do their planning so that there is visibility for all. It would be highly beneficial if Wrike could add a Production Execution type view similar to the Gantt view, only you have a single list of repeatable steps to which you can add multiple orders (tasks) and be seen how they fit in one after the other instead of just repeating the list with the same set of steps over and over for each order.

Wrike is also very slow in general, especially in Gantt view, which is highly frustrating.
