Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

In my organization, we use Wrike as a project management software, and budget tracker. It's used throughout the organization through different departments. It helps us keep track of strategic projects, deadlines, subtasks and project updates. One of my favorite features is creating specific columns to track monthly budgets with actual spend, and then I create dashboards to show exactly how much money we have spent on a specific channel. Wrike allows me to do that fairly easily.

Pros

  • Create project lists, due dates, and updates.
  • Create useful dashboards.
  • Excellent customer service if you have any troubleshooting questions.

Cons

  • Highly requested features seem to take very long to be implemented or sometimes they are not implemented yet.
  • More templates would be helpful.
  • Better onboarding training, or I should say more available onboarding training.
  • Improved collaboration across teams because we are no longer using excel for project management.
  • Helpful folders and dashboard can be created and shared with third-party vendors.
  • We don't have a project manager, so Wrike acts as our in-house project management laborer.
I have not used any of the AI features. In my old company, I heavily used the automation features with monday.com, and I know Wrike has very similar capabilities. However in my old job, I owned the project management software responsibilities and in my current role it is not a part of my job, although I use it every day. We don't have an internal point of contact for Wrike, so any easy to digest emails/webinars to showcase the abilities that Wrike has in a short amount of time would be helpful.
As I mentioned previously, Wrike has a lot of capabilities. However, where I do see a lack is in that it is not very user-friendly. It is a bit clunkier than some of the competitors out there. Wrike is powerful and can achieve most things that you think of for project management, however, it can be very difficult to handle for someone new to the software.
As I mentioned previously, monday.com was just a bit more user friendly, and also colorful which made it easy to track several different projects. It is more aesthetically pleasing. Wrike was chosen for my company by another department, but it is still an extremely helpful tool. Just not as intuitive as others in the market.

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

Yes

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

I believe that Wrike would be useful for companies that have experience with project management software. Previously, I used monday.com and it was extremely helpful and user-friendly. I believe Wrike can be just as effective, however, it has a much higher learning curve. It is not as intuitive as some other project management software out there, but I believe it has very similar capabilities. It's not as helpful for a newbie.
