Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

I use Wrike to manage multiple programs and many projects that encompass designing and building live stage productions. We have several production teams that use the system to communicate and track the progress of each project which spans multiple years for one stage production. I create the framework of the system for each show and our team of project managers track with their teams' progress.

Pros

  • Best gantt chart I've seen after comparing several other options!
  • Clean and simple UX
  • Fast, robust, and able to handle complex projects living in multiple locations

Cons

  • AI capabilities are starting to scratch the surface but there is more room to grow!
  • I'd like to see more flexibility in some of the features - IE mass linking/unlinking/editing in the gantt chart
  • Dashboard access for Collaborators
  • Hours based time management option rather than just for a day at a time
  • More awareness on tasks for employees
I've used it for summaries for long threads of descriptions or comment threads and I've started exploring it for other options but nothing concrete yet!
The workflows are key for us and super intuitive. They allow us to have common terminology across projects and our users understand what they mean.
Wrike is a stronger platform, faster, easier to use, and better suited for our needs. it checks almost all the boxes where as almost every other platform has significant holes in the product.

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

Yes

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

I think Wrike does everything I want it to do. There are a lot of programs out there that do some of the things but not all of the things I'm looking for, Wrike almost hits all of the boxes. One thing I don't like about Wrike is that it doesn't treat duration as king. So if you have a set duration of 20 days, and you change the start date from today to 5 days from now, your duration changes to 15 days without warning. This is a big problem for my teams and gets us into trouble, but it is fixed by only editing in the gantt chart.
