Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo
We use ZoomInfo in our sales and marketing efforts primarily, however, I think one of our managers got access to it the other day to find an interviewee's contact info. It provides a way to allow us to find reliable direct phone and email addresses for prospects and inbound marketing leads.
- The best thing ZoomInfo has going for it is its reputation for being one of the most up-to-date and accurate sources for direct phone numbers. There are many other tools out there that can find company emails, but the phone numbers is a big selling point.
- The UX/UI is far from ideal. That said, they are investing in this piece and even pushed a major update to the UI this year with ZoomInfo 2.0, along with a new Chrome extension (which still has some kinks to work through).
- With ZoomInfo, we can save time on finding valuable contact info simply by finding them in Linkedin and opening the Chrome extension. It's also useful to put in a search criteria for bulk list creation.
- D&B Hoovers (formerly Avention), DiscoverOrg and Clearbit
In my opinion, Zoominfo is well suited for finding contact info (direct phone and email) for SMBs. If you mainly prospect enterprise, Discoverorg is maybe a better way to go. Another alternative if you target a lot of tech companies is Clearbit, which has some more robustness in API's and integrations.
