If you're trying to identify contacts that are showing interest in an account, you will probably have to do some deep diving using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and another prospecting tool to get that person's contact information. The use of complementary tools with 6sense to identify anonymous activity happening on an account is a must. 6sense does a tremendous job at identifying accounts that are showing interest and contacts that are engaged (if they are known contacts in your database) and alerting reps to that activity through SFDC reports and 6sense alerts.

RainKing (discontinued)

RainKing is less appropriate when you don't have the funds or resources to pay for it. You could easily Google the information that you're looking for, or use CrunchBase, but it's extremely time-consuming. RainKing makes this very easy and the data seamlessly sends to Salesforce with the proper integration. RainKing is very appropriate when you have a large team of folks that need to source leads/accounts simultaneously and need licenses to do so - it's worth the money with a larger team.

  • Being able to search for companies that are currently evaluating solutions in your space.
  • The contact information for people and related people is also great, I have used dozens of other data solutions and prefer Rainking.
  • Rainking also gives you the ability to create lists of your ideal buyer and download them which was great for my team and I pull new contacts to prospect!
  • I can't get over how impressive the org chart info is in RainKing, it allowed myself and my team to find other involved prospects and get a good feel for organizations.

  • Provide a 6sense wiki/guide explaining 6sense terms used in 6sense iframe, in 6sense alerts, and 6sense ABM platform (explicit definitions and relations between these terms)

  • Account manager - really unresponsive, not interested in helping with renewal, making the case to our execs
  • The Discover/RainKing team was not interested in helping us expand the way we are utilizing the tool, provide additional training, etc
  • Contacts department designation lacks in accuracy, we frequently found significant mismatches

Now that I have a stronger understanding of how I personally want to use 6sense for my team I have a better understanding of the platform as well. Additionally, once I had the time to truly dive in I was able to really navigate easily so I'd say it's usability is excellent.

One of the best onboarding experiences that I have had. We have multiple CSMs that have not only made time and push deadlines to meet our organization's goals but have extended their calendars for multiple people on my team and throughout my organization to make sure they were set up for success. Since Customer Support is a costly division sometimes, it is rare to find a company that is as large as 6sense to be so willing to give that kind of attention.

The 6sense team was much more responsive during our evaluation period and provided much more support. The 6sense team also promised us a Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration shortly after we purchased (which was a huge selling point), but we have yet to see much movement here a year later. This has been disappointing

I've used SalesNavigator and Zoom Info. I actually think that Ranking is a great solution if you can use it in tandem with SalesNavigator. When it comes to pulling lists, in my opinion, Ranking does it best. Now that it has the database combined with Discoverorg, it's even more powerful to use.

  • After just 2 months in production we can track generated pipeline specifically to 6sense.
  • We are anticipating driving more marketing generated opportunities at a faster pace. We already know we win deals at a 2x rate when marketing generated vs sales generated.
