Overall Satisfaction with 6sense

6sense helps me keep an eye on activity within my client portfolio and alerts me when my clients are looking for new solutions which means new opportunities.

Pros

  • Provide insight into my clients' searches and interests
  • Keep me informed when clients are looking for an alternative provider

Cons

  • I need all my information within my CRM
  • I need to be able to customize my own key words instead of going to an admin
  • Sometimes it's too much information
  • I have found an opportunity but no wins yet
  • I've spent a lot of time chasing down threats where they searched for a competitor, only to find that there was no threat
There is so much "going on" with 6sense and the several other tools and resources my company provides. I could spend all my time managing these tools instead of selling.
There are a lot of false leads. It's helpful to know my clients are looking for "something" but, unfortunately, I don't always know the person who is looking.

I had a client who was searching for a solution we offer but the contact did not know me or what my company does. I saw someone from the company was searching for supplier risk information and called my contact to ask for a referral to their procurement department.

Using 6sense

Our Marketing Management team and Sales Support are charged with supporting, managing, and maintaining it.
  • Find new opportunities
  • Identify potential threats
  • Identify contacts for new opportunities
  • Qualify/Quantify new opportunites
  • Work intel from 6sense into email and phone campaigns
  • Use in conjunction with other resources to identify probable contacts
  • Unsure. I believe there is a need for better training for sales on the existing and potential capabilities
  • Integration with Salesforce and SalesLoft
We have several resources and, although 6sense is valuable, I do not believe it's being used widely enough by the sales team due to lack of training and its complexity. I wish there was a simplified guide for use and more 1-on-1 training.

I'm sure that the primary focus was on the ability of 6sense to deliver quality insights into the activities of our clients who are searching for solutions we can provide.
I wish there was more integration.
I would like to have a 1-on-1 call with someone for training to help me fit 6sense into my workflow.
I don't think I would change anything but I would put more responsibility on 6sense to help insure that our people are properly trained and finding value in the tool.

6sense Implementation

6sense Training

It was too fast, too complex, no one could follow along. If you miss a step, you're lost for the rest of the time and there is SO MUCH to learn and keep up with.

I feel like there is configurability and I recall some of it but training was poor.

  • I like getting a daily email of potential activity. It's really the only thing I am comfortable using.
  • Log in is easy since windows remembers ID/Pswd. That's about all
  • Anything within the website. Lack of training
  • We cannot make changes to our portfolio or the key words
There is too much in the website's user interface. Without training, we log in and get lost. The training we had was so complex and intensive that few of us understood or could keep up.

6sense Reliability

It seems to be applicable and scalable to all of our sales teams.
I've never noticed it being down but I rarely log into the web interface
I do have to wait for data to load

Integrating 6sense

I understand it will integrate with SFDC but would like more integration with Salesloft

    Thank you for calling out your concerns around training. We are regularly adding new courses (live and recorded) to our Academy (learn.6sense.com) that we encourage you to check out. They have specific short videos for Sales users that you may find helpful. We also do have an integration with Salesloft that is quite popular among our customers. Your Admin should be able to quickly set that up for you.
