Dropbox is a cloud storage solution, equipped with features that help users to save time, improve productivity, and collaborate with others. Users can edit PDFs, share videos, sign documents, and collaborate with stakeholders without leaving Dropbox.
The integration with Creative Cloud Libraries and Adobe Fonts, combined with the powerful array of tools offered in Adobe Illustrator makes up for the high price compared with other tools that are often free. You even get an outstanding 3D renderer built in with excellent …
Adobe Illustrator, as far I know, is the most powerful and popular 2d vector design software. There was Corel Draw back in the day (I am not sure if they are still around) but the interface was archaic and it was overall less powerful than Illustrator. It being 2018, I selected …
I have used inkscape which is probably one of the biggest alternatives to Illustrator. It is good at a few things but I found it to be slower and not as intuitive as illustrator. As well as the support and updates were few and far between. Illustrator is great with updates …
I use Google Drive for personal projects (although frankly, I have a personal account on Dropbox too). I don't think I'd ever use Google Drive for a professional project.
I chose Dropbox many years ago for backing up personal files, convinced my previous employer to move to them based on my experience and continue to use them for my personal business. Dropbox has never provided a reason for me to look elsewhere.
I just prefer the ease at which Dropbox functions as opposed to Google Drive. Just a personal preference

We have clients who asked that we use these products: Google Drive Microsoft OneDrive While they both offer the same sharing features, the other two prefer their file types. Dropbox seems to be agnostic; therefore, we don't have to think about what KIND of files we're using. …
I thought they were very similar but liked the overall user experience with Dropbox better

SugarSync dropped compatibility for my OS without notice and no alternative to access/update my file updates. When I complained, I wasn't satisfied with their response so I changed services. I have been much happier with Dropbox as the overall compatibility, ease of use, and …
iCloud is a good service from Apple, but I prefer Dropbox because of the clarity Dropbox has given when syncing files from your desktop. iCloud was confusing and I ended up with files on my iMac that were supposed to be iCloud only. This did not meet my expectations of freeing …
Dropbox beats WeTransfer by being able to integrate with Finder and by having download links that don't expire. Google Drive has some integration with Finder, but it is not amazing and there are syncing issues more frequently than with Dropbox. Google Drive has the obvious …
Google Drive & One Drive functions pretty much the same way as Dropbox. WeTransfer as less storage functionality, so I only use it as a one-off to transfer large files. But, if I already have a dropbox account, I would stick with Dropbox. It's only if a client doesn't have …

Dropbox is much more user freidnly for non users, and google sucks because it compresses files and ofter degrades image quality

There is more storage available and it seems to be easier to navigate than Google Drive.
iDrive and Sync don't remove files from your local storage once they've been unsynced, so it's less clear which files are available and which aren't. Plus Dropbox now selectively offloads files when they haven't been used in a while, so it's managing your storage usage for you …

I would say that Dropbox ranks in the middle among the others I have used. Google Drive is my preference, because of its simple UI and smooth user experience. Dropbox ranks second because it's a bit clunky compared to Google. OneDrive ranks third because it's still useful and …
File syncing is so much smoother and for sure faster! It's easier to share files. People can preview them, look at them, download them, with no issues. And you can share files/folder so other individuals can contribute without causing much ruckus

SharePoint was where our engineering team looked for service in the cloud however we quickly moved to Dropbox when we evaluated costs for the amount of storage we needed.

I prefer Dropbox because it’s easier to manage lots of different folders, the versions of files names the same thing update automatically and the interface is easier to understand

Dropbox is much better for file organization than Google Drive. It's much easier to organize files and find files. It's much easier to give access to users who need it and create groups for individual departments and interdepartmental. It's much easier to see who has access to …

It is the only tool that I use to create logos. It gives me the flexibility to create sharp text and marks and they can then be resized at will, color changes in a second and perfect way to export. I know that some people use Illustrator for document layout, it is not ideal. While I can easily create documents here, it really is InDesign that is the perfect tool.
Let me describe a scenario that happened recently in our organization's marketing team storing thousands of images videos and pdfs and Dropbox is done a great perfomer in this situation by the product features which is very helpful for the team, such as smart sync reduces disc usage, preview support for many media formats & Integrate with Adobe Creative Cloud.
I can make projects available to editors so that they can do their work.
Dropbox is a place where I can store files that I can access from anywhere, even if I don't have my laptop with me at the time.
I have an old friend who is an acting professor in Tokyo. He loves the dialogue that I write in my novels. He converts chapters into scenework for his acting students. They get very excited when there's new material!
I’d like to be able to hover over an image/document and have it expand/enlarge without actually opening it
I’d love to see a carousel that lets me thumb through more quickly
I’m almost always in thumbnail view. I’d like to see them re-organize automatically when something is moved or deleted instead of leaving an empty space.
While Adobe Illustrator CC is one of the only true design software out there, it really stands heads above the other products. It's clean UI and menu structure is easy to navigate.
Dropbox is a user-friendly, easy tool which requires little to no skill and they offer a free version with a good amount of storage available. There are other file sharing tools available however at a cost. Dropbox free version I have used for years and it serves every purpose I need.
There's a bit of a learning curve to this software vs other similar tools that can take some time to learn and get familiar with but the amount of functionality that Adobe Illustrator CC offers is quite large compared to simpler tools.
It works extremely well, and we have never had any issues with connecting or sharing files. It's very easy to use, and any team member can share, add, and delete files to a virtual drive. This is extremely helpful, and it's an amazing tool to use, ensuring everyone can connect and work together effectively.
I really recommend the product for the Dropbox availability is a great having very very less downtimes, they errors are less I have been faced yet, due to connectivity sometimes we are getting errors. Only sometimes the limitations of some features show some errors.
Dropbox is really useful, you can access any file from anywhere and you can upload and even edit files online, but, sometimes it can be slow. Downloading, uploading, and syncing is a bit slow, it can take several minutes. Furthermore, the search engine for large amounts of data can be slow too and it is not powerful.
I normally already know how to do whatever I'm trying out, but the documentation (as well as a simple Google search) makes any question quick to resolve. The Adobe boards themselves are a fantastic resource, especially for resolving questions between new programs and iterative releases.
They immediately responded like in an example that I gave where one of our staff members accidentally deleted the whole Special Hope Network Dropbox, we immediately contacted Dropbox they walked us through the steps of how to retrieve the information and luckily enough we were able to retrieve the entire Dropbox and we have had back and forth with Dropbox on what to do when an employee leaves how to remove them how to add another employee.
The person for corporate product dealing and knowledge of the product explore and better and secure use are properly handover to us. Also provide full software and tool training from the basic to the pro level with each and every possible explanation. Provide many sessions regarding every doubt. Also Guide better suitable options for our business to migrate and integrate for the expansion in all places employee smoothly.
I did not personally take any training for Dropbox so I am self taught but I know when our Vice President selected Dropbox, he personally did do some training modules on it and I'm assuming it was very easy and simple to understand since he now acts like he is a pro at it!
I needed to stay current in improving my daily operations. Dropbox was suggested to me by a former colleague two-years ago and I've been using it just fine ever since.
I chose Rhinoceros 3D because it is accurate to make drawings in it and it is better to make drawings in Rhinoceros 3D and then put them in Adobe Illustrator. But while printing or scaling it is much easier to put it in Adobe Illustrator. This makes the whole printing aspect of it much easier.
I prefer the layout and visual aspect of Dropbox as it mirrors my files on my computer. I feel that I am more organized, and it's easier to find my files in Dropbox than it was with Google Drive.
I would recommend to this product directly to the sales team of Dropbox for the best deal provide to my referred person and provide the best service to them.
It's easy to integrate with the systems of Windows and Linux, easy to have web versions accessible, which provide the web login credentials. Also, it can be installed for individuals for the best autosync features.
When it works (usually if a client already has Dropbox, so they don't get the solicitation to sign up), it works flawlessly.
I've had multiple clients not see the "continue with download only" at the bottom and email me to resend the media another way because they don't have a Dropbox account.
