AnyDesk is an appropriate software for use by us to resolve technical ticket tickets made by users of the organization. Whenever there is a problem or request to install something on the workstation, IT is triggered and we use this tool to resolve the online and remote ticket. Service is fast, agile and we use it to install software, printers, check files, shares, windows settings, and other things.

LogMeIn Rescue

I am able to copy update files or tools directly to the customers hard drive instead of having themlog into and search a webpage or file server.I keep the files I need in a local folder on my hard drive and have them ready at all times. I can copy them without the user clicking cancel.

  • You can choose an alias for your machine instead of a number ID.
  • It has a good mobile app.
  • It does not consume much RAM or slow down the machine upon startup.

LogMeIn Rescue

  • Security - LogMeIn uses an SSO solution that allows secured logins. It also requires authentication for the user being assisted.
  • Ease - LogMeIn is very easy to use and allows for simple tools like whiteboards and automated memos that allow one to expand on their experience.
  • Speed - LogMeIn allows for fast file transfers that work immediately. The remote desktop sharing is also very efficient, as I've never encountered any issues across a variety of connection speeds.

  • The user's have capabilities to disable it so when we try to do a remote session, it shows user offline. It would be nice to have the administrator control over it.

LogMeIn Rescue

  • I believe the yearly price is high.
  • I have some customers who have trouble getting to the logmein123.com website. They try to do a search for the site and it comes up with hundreds of choices.
  • After the customers download the installer the questions the installer asks scares them, as if we could cause harm to their system.

There is something to be said for familiarity. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. It makes juggling several support sessions at once possible, and even fun. We already have more the 2300 computers out there right now with the calling card installed. It is an excellent backup solution for remote connections when other products will not connect due to spyware or PUPs.

AnyDesk is a complete solution for remote access and control. AnyDesk provides better navigation and UI when compared with other similar software. AnyDesk helped me a lot at times when I've been working from home. The only disadvantage I found is when the network connection is weak. It needs to be managed properly.

We are also often providing support for non-tech savvy end users who might have a hard time downloading and installing remote access software, especially when firewall warnings start to appear. LogMeIn Rescue's process is intuitive and easy to follow for our users.

I didn't have any technical problems and I didn't suffer from bugs or errors. Customer service has improved a lot and I no longer need to leave the office to go to the user's computer. With AnyDesk I install and remove programs, printers, scanners, settings in general. Screen sharing is excellent and without delays. Overall, I recommend and approve AnyDesk.

AnyDesk

AnyDesk is a low-storage device so you can tell the client to download it anywhere you are connected with the internet and it will get installed very quickly. The screen sharing in this application is very clean and resolution quality is high, you can only access once the client device accepts it, which means a secure remote access from this application.

LogMeIn Rescue

Personally, I prefer Managed Workplace over LogMeIn. That could be because it was the first tool I ever used for remote management. I liked how easy it was to remotely power on a machine and see the status of machines. I just think that the tool was a bit more in depth. This isnt to say that LogMeIn isnt great for what it is. I just dont think it was built for in depth management like that. LogMeIn is a great solution for any company trying to streamline their remote management.

  • Easy access to client devices which is a very positive impact on our institute.
  • According to overall business objectives this has helped us have frequent and easy communication with our customers to tackle issues.
  • Negative impact is nothing but only a minor thing is that you need to be connected every time with the internet.

  • It has reduced the on-call time for our team. They can connect to a user, get off the phone and work remotely with this.
  • Improved customer satisfaction. Our clients no longer have to stay on the phone with us to fix problems.
  • It has also improved our quality of support. Being able to connect to the customer's PC remotely opens up more options to fix issues.
