Gong helps people and companies reach their potential. The Gong Revenue Intelligence Platform™ enables customer-facing teams to take advantage of their most valuable assets – customer interactions, which the Gong platform automatically captures and analyzes. Gong then delivers insights at scale, to empower revenue and go-to-market teams to determine the best actions for winning outcomes. The vendor boasts companies like Morningstar Inc., Paychex, LinkedIn,…
I have not used other forecasting tools other than the built-in functions in Salesforce, Gong, and Outreach. I think that the benefit of Clari against these other tools that almost any Sales organization has is that their whole focus is on forecasting and visibility into your …
Clari is the most user-friendly platform in my opinion, and I've had the best customer service experience with my support team. Clari has continued to prove its ROI after each sub-platform we've implemented, and has built trust and adoption from the AEs to C-Level mgmt.
pretty high, SFDC too slow, Outreach way better than Salesloft, Clari is for managers as a rep i keep track of that in my own notes. Gong is a platform build for sellers and managers to help progress deals where as the others feel like tools meant to help predict a business not …
I personally thought Gong was much easier to use than Clari, although they’re not necessarily exactly the same. Clari has more forecast data which I appreciate, but Gong’s feedback on sales calls seems more valuable to me, and was simpler to access. I thought it provided a …
It stacks up in a different way. All of these companies try to do some feature that Gong does. Like Call recording, call analysis, AI discovery, Forecasting and Sales Activity tracking. Gong beats most, Otter.ai is a growing competitor though.
Gong is a lot more in depth and has a much more data rich approach to the sales cycle than Groove. While groove is good at keeping your communication in line and on time, Gong really dominates when it comes to searching recorded calls and finding the key topics/exchanges you …
CoPilot is good software, and the prices were relatively equal between the two. Gong's representative was more hands on in making us feel comfortable switching software and changing our infrastructure to accommodate. It was this care and handholding that put us over the edge. …
Gong is much better than the tools I have used before simply because of a better UI, easy-to-use system and it has the whole package any sales professional might need. You can't build an outreach into Gong, which I think could be a great idea for the Gong team but the things …
Gong's thought leadership, performance, intuitiveness, advanced conversation intelligence, and all-encompassing solution has helped me greatly and I wouldn't trade it for anything else.
Gong.io doesn't do as many things as its competitors, but what it does, it does really well. Gong.io is better at what it does than any other competitor. A tool like Salesloft can replace both Gong.io and Outreach, but its call recording is nowhere near as strong as Gong.io …
We use Clari as the primary way to manage our sales business, our opportunities, and our forecasting. Clari provides a very clean, digestible, and easy to manipulate format to view and manage all of the Salesforce information. The fact that Clari is able to provide an easily customizable set of columns and groups, coupled with the ability to write back to Salesforce is fantastic. Anyone in a mature sales organization will find Clari highly effective at helping manage their funnel of opportunities and their business.
Gong is the perfect, all-in-one tool for Sales reps to be able to succeed. It's my one-stop-shop for updating deals, getting intelligence into the accounts I'm servicing, and for coaching/training myself and others. I could even see its use case extending to CSMs. Maybe a bit less appropriate for non-sales-oriented teams.
Provides executive summaries for meeting notes and email follow ups.
AI Briefs allow anyone to seek information on a particular customer in a matter of seconds.
Scores calls such as EBRs or new business sales calls that can be used by management for coaching.
Provides accurate forecasting and visibility to sales leaders.
Theme spotter can be used to gather feedback and provide data to management for opportunities we continuously here from our clients.
Accurately depict key points from conversations and allows for different brief themes to quickly get the information needed for teammates throughout the organization.
Sometimes Gong doesn't understand the context of the sentence and mistranslates the transcripts, leading to confusion and requiring manual review.
The generated reports aren't as detailed, especially the Gong Engage reports. Extra steps are required to search for useful information, which is only available in the CSV files, which contain the complete information needed for proper analysis.
I would like a feature where I can automatically tag groups of calls, making it easier to search for information in transcripts without having to go call by call or do that work myself.
I will renew my Clari Subscription for many reasons. 1. Streamlines Sales - Clari automates many manual tasks like note-taking and transcripts. This frees my sales team so they can focus on closing deals. 2. Increased customer retention - Clari helps me identify potential churn risks and take proactive measures. 3. AI-Driven Insights
Gong is one of the best if not the best tools we have in or tech stack in terms of ROI and ease of use. The ai features that have been released over the past year have continued to add value and are not just shiny new features that don't get used. It is also an easy to use platform for our sales and customer success reps, takes very little time to become proficient in. The deal boards also provide great visibility into opps for management and leadership
Clari's UI does not resonate with new users. The backend query updating takes quite long time to update. Lots of fixes are needed without answers or solutions offered by the Clari team. If set up correctly with clear recommendations from the Clari team, all the previous issues may be resolved, however the usability is tied closely to set up.
It does great for all the things I've mentioned. I didn't give it a 10/10 because I still think there is room to improve as far as improving the quality of the insights that are more actionable. I.e. this happened so you should think about doing this thing as a next step.
becasue end of year or around end of Q due to background changes my total number dissapear and make it hard in that week to see forecast numbers accurate
Clari is very willing to jump in and build out use cases. They will work to do anything for you. That said, their follow up is not great. We have had to reach out for follow up several times on a project, which is still not complete. I wish they taught us how to complete what we want, rather than doing it in house for us
I give them a 10 because, I have been using Gong for over a year now and have never had issues or concerns go un resolved in a day or two. Their communication is impeccable and their tech support is very hands on and prompt
At the time of selection, Clari was a more mature product than Xactly Forecasting. We did not want to experience growing pains with Xactly. Pipeline Inspection from SFDC was just becoming available. We had already selected Clari before we learned about Pipeline Inspection.
It stacks up in a different way. All of these companies try to do some feature that Gong does. Like Call recording, call analysis, AI discovery, Forecasting and Sales Activity tracking. Gong beats most, Otter.ai is a growing competitor though.
I don't have specific metrics since this feature isn't used in my job personally, but I do know that our sales and CS teams use Gong with SFDC opportunities to help with forecasting closed won opportunities based on intent captured within the call.
