Constant Contact was initially cheaper than Mailchimp, which is why we switched. Once we started using Constant Contact, it was clear we made the right choice. It is so much easier to use than our old platform. I can’t see any reason why we would ever change away from this …
Constant Contact and Novi AMS integrate, which makes our lives very easy. Feathr is a little difficult to use, and the results are mixed on reporting. Mailchimp was a very difficult product to use. I had a hard time getting used to it, and I quickly switched to Constant Contact …
Constant Contact destroys Microsoft 365 when it comes to mass emailing. Microsofts max email recipients is like twenty people at once. Constant Contact you can email thousands at a time WITH dynamic content. Meaning if some clients are in New York and some in New Jersey, you …
The ease of use and segmentation of Constant Contact makes it superior! You can upload images easily and it is pretty easy to walk someone through how to design and email and upload an email list for sending.
1. Constant Contact provides features that were well suited for us being a mid-size organization. 2. Implementation of Constant Contact with Wordpress and WooCommerce was easy as compared to Brevo. 3. Peer-recommendations, brand reputation and research by our internal team also …
It's been a long time since I used MailChimp. I do remember being impressed the first time I used Constant Contact after having used MailChimp exclusively for a couple of years.
Mailchimp is pretty comparable in a lot of ways to Constant Contact, but Constant Contact just continues to win when it comes to deliver-ability and user-interface. It's clean, simple, and intuitive.
There are other platforms like ActiveCampaign and Klaviyo that have some …
Constant Contact is quite intuitive making it easy to distribute the workload such as one person creates conntent, one migrates it to the template, one edits the content, and so on. However, it is easy for any one of us to do each others work.
We selected Constant Contact due to pricing constraints. However, if the pricing were to increase, we may look at alternative products that offer more features. We are looking for a product that will allow us to stand out from other organizations like ours that are appealing to …
I know what CC offers (but not sure if the others offer this or Retargetting - CC automatically retargets any of our customers with abandoned carts. We also set triggers on our promotional email system, and for follow-ups. This has been very helpful in targeting and retargeting …
They’re both pretty similar software, however mailchimp maybe more intuitive. I think they are similar in terms of deliverability at this point. Constant Contact might be more bang for the same buck.
Very similar in nature. I feel it's more just what works for your organization as to what solution you are more familiar with and the pricing structure that fits your needs. For most organizations with sales departments, I would recommend a email platform that is linked with …
In my view, If I were made aware of Constant Contact's lack of performance, I would have never created an account. I would rather use Wix, or even just social media! It would be more effective, user-friendly, and less costly or stressful, I believe.
it is the youngest sibling compared to the much more competent and capable older brother that is Marketo Engage. The reports, database management, and complete control of email designs, and interaction of recipients does not compare. Constant Contact is a great entry-level …
We use BEE Pro to create our emails; we like their email builder. However, when sending emails, Constant Contact is much better. They allow more emails to be sent out at once and let us store more contacts within the program. Constant Contact has greater flexibility and variety …
Constant Contact is much more intuitive for people who are not tech-savvy. Also, while SendGrid offered more options in it's drag and drop interface, it displayed differently across different email clients, which made it very cumbersome to use. It also took much longer to …
Overall, Constant Contact is the easiest to use with one of the lower price points. It is a great entry-level tool for a beginner in order to graduate into more sophisticated platforms. The design features are a good start along with the subject line testing which is helpful …
Constant contact was perfect for our needs for many clients, it wasn’t overly robust, but powerful enough to see strong ROI. With regards to the competitor tools, amongst standard ESP there’s not a huge difference as they all essentially work the same, it’s just about pricing …
I've implemented dozens of systems over the last 15 years and, I feel, Totango was by far the most challenging. I have a background in several areas, but the most applicable to Totango is my background in data management, systems administration, programming, web design, web …
Pipedrive is a great CRM for Sales purposes but it doesnt give much tools for CX management. Totango is all the opposite, it is an excellent product for Customer Management . We currently use both platforms integrated with each other and it gives great results to both Sales and …
Totango's UI is clean, very easy to find whatever you need on the account. Its ability to search using the company domain of a customer definitely saves time and effort instead of switching to other databases. It also allows me to view my task on a weekly basis instead of …
Totango was the best platform for our needs, particularly the ability to segment and the ease of use versus other products for the day to day work of our CSMs
I think Totango has features and implementation very similar to top-of-the-line CRMs but is easier to implement. Its incredibly visibly pleasing and out-of-the-box dashboards make it easy to get immediate visibility into your customer landscape. They also have a great customer …
I don't make the purchasing decisions, and I don't know which other companies were in the running, but as far as the expectation of what we had anticipated TT doing for us, and what we see in our day-to-day, I think it answers the biggest questions we had which were - "how do …
Totango was a good fit and middle ground between Gainsight which was overwhelming for our needs and ChurnZero which at the time was not as mature as it is today. Simple to use straightforward interface which is also flexible and customizable. The Totango product team has been …
Totango seemed the best way to have quick wins, long term wins, and work through optimizations and iterations along the way. We could launch piecemeal and adapt to our business needs as we saw value in Totango, instead of having to create a masterpiece that would be complex to …
Totango had a much cleaner UI and was much more affordable for a small company. Totango also looked like it would be more straightforward and easier to use for my customer success team. Other companies didn't handle the multi-level customer hierarchies as cleanly as Totango and …
Planhat feels like Pandora's box. It was very cool, shiny, complete but felt like an empty canvas. We felt so overwhelmed by the amount of possibilities that we didn't know where to begin. Because we sought out a tool which could help us out with the best 'time-to-value' due to …
We had previously used Salesforce for years for our CSMs and other functions but found that it never quite met what we needed it to do for our CSMs. It was cumbersome with reporting and showing workflow. It was also more manual with detailing engagements or reaching our clients …
Totango felt like a great option that was beyond entry-level, but not a sledgehammer for a nail for what, at the time, was a brand new Customer Experience team being formed.
Constant Contact is great when trying to target specific market segments. We typically like to segment our master list by region, but also have product segments, as well. They do provide pre-made segments to start you off too. We don't usually use their email builder, we find others to be more flexible, intuitive, and have more variety. We do prefer emailing from Constant Contact, however.
for a CSM it´s marvelous, you have in one window everything, the agenda for your day by day work, the workload you have in a day,all the customers database and call history added by tasks and toutch points, the to do thing in each customer you know what to do next, with renewal you hace an digital engadgement with customers inform they need to renew in order to keep using the app.
Totango easily integrates with other tools to pull information in one place.
Totango is extremely easy to configure how you want, including adding new attributes that are important to you, creating segments relevant to your business, and automating processes through SuccessPlays and Campaigns.
Totango Support is amazing! Very knowledgeable and prompt!
Totango provides so many resources for users, including tutorials, a knowledge base, and the new creator campus. It's awesome.
Sometimes some software provides outdated and useless features and functions, but this email marketing tool gives advanced kinds of functionalities with modern features.
I like the ease of use of this platform also appreciate its professional customer support team.
I am no longer desperate after getting this tool at my work.
There is no doubt that we are going to renew Constant Contact. We have not just invested a lot of time in learning and creating a great looking product but we have developed a strong database of information that allows us to track how we are doing for each newsletter. This supports our goals of creating products that residents desire and are excited to receive.
We like the tool enough to keep it in the long run. It does what we need it exactly to do, and I think there's still a lot for us to uncover in terms of its capabilities. There are a lot of functions we want to take the time to learn, but we've been strapped on resources so are just staying afloat.
There is always room for improvement. I don't know how they test their systems, but they should invite not-so computer savvy people to test it. If I, as an expert have problems, they need to think like the technophobe. Since I've used Constant Contact in the past as part of my former employment, I have not viewed any of the tutorials and just jumped in to work on my client's newsletter. With that said, I found some areas easy and some a bit cumbersome
It is easy to use and understand, and simple to follow day to day. Logging notes and tasks is one of the key areas this is utilised along with tracking reports and accessing key data points for conversations with customers which is helpful. Mobile app helps too to access information on the go.
Totango is available all the time . the only problem is that some times it takes time to load specially the records of the customers. The data loading inside the customer account is fast. It may be because of internet service but still it can i,prove a lot. i have seen other competitors software which is faster
The system seemed quite slow sometimes. Specifically, there was sometimes a delay in sends if it was during a high traffic period. There were time-outs when uploading new code for an email, and a lag in reporting analytics which was sometimes as long as 72 hours
At times the integration sync can be really slow when it comes to touchpoints. I can't say the same for customer health syncing, but I do tend to notice the lag from email syncing, and in those cases, I will need to refresh the Totango page a couple of times or wait a couple of extra seconds/minutes for it to show up.
I think the overall support for Constant Contact has always been incredible; I have nothing negative to say. Our customer support representative was attentive, easy to understand, and very knowledgeable. I never felt like I wasn't a priority of his and my issues, while very small, were fixed in a very short time frame.
I give Totango a support rating of 10 because I can always get support whenever needed. If its a technical issue, I know I can email their support team for help. If it's a more in depth question with respect to our instance of Totango, I can reach out to our CSM and always get help in a very reasonable amount of time. I always look to Totango as the standard when I think of how to best communicate and support our own customers.
Our CSM did a great job of conducting the training so we understand, at the very least, the functionality that is directly relevant to us. This also allowed us to train our own new team mates when onboarding based on the training flow that was first presented to us. This was also conducted as a interactive sessions, as training are notoriously known to be dry
Implementation is very easy for someone who wants to send out the “batch and blast” type newsletters. If you want to use their templates with no customizations, the product works fine. However, the more customizations you get into involving link color, etc, that’s where things can get tricky for someone who may not be familiar with coding
Totango has been easy for our team to integrate most of our new features into, which is great considering we have to factor in the customers' usage of the new features into all of the health and usage metrics we have. It has taken a while to integrate our second product however, which is why I would rank this a 7.
We selected Constant Contact due to pricing constraints. However, if the pricing were to increase, we may look at alternative products that offer more features. We are looking for a product that will allow us to stand out from other organizations like ours that are appealing to the same customers—a product that will set our company apart from the others.
I've implemented dozens of systems over the last 15 years and, I feel, Totango was by far the most challenging. I have a background in several areas, but the most applicable to Totango is my background in data management, systems administration, programming, web design, web dev. Totango was very challenging to set-up. Other systems have more intuitive UIs and onboarding. For anyone wanting to use Totango, don't. For those that are still not convinced, I would make sure you are game for a very long implementation and the ongoing maintenance of syncing/resyncing. If you are in charge of implementation, in my experience, this is a not a 'set it and forget it' type of platform. It does require someone who is highly technical to partner with your customer success team to make sure it is functioning properly.
Very reliable in sending email campaigns and controlling the recipients so that no contact is sent the same email more than once, even if they are on a resent list
Information keeps missing and changing in totango . Because of that there is are lot of problems with it. We need to manually keep the backup in an another file. More over if in case we take the backup its so hard to track since its all in numbers. Totango can be much better if the cloud storage is working fine. My company is planning to discontinue due to this factor
I can't report hard numbers, however, being able to execute sales and marketing campaigns led to a noticeable increase in brand awareness in our industry.
We were able to offer white-labeled email communication services to clients, which is not something that other administrators typically offer. This helped us win and retain business.
