Two big use cases where it's very well suited: onboarding of our clients and churn prevention. It just saves me so much time and helps me recommend more strategic suggestions. At the end of the day I can see my productivity being a lot higher than before having Custify.

Well-suited scenarios for using UserTesting include running comparative user tests between two designs, products experiences, running surveys, asking users to perform a specific task, and then observing how they do it to draw out insights on how to make it simpler and easy. Probably UserTesting is not best suited for doing moderated users test, and running user tests with your own users also one needs to check how many user testers are available in their desired cohort which they want to target.

- Creating interview clips is simple. The video cutting software is easy to use and lightyears ahead of competitors like UserZoom.
- The pool of participants is large in the US (likely the highest amongst competitors). This makes recruiting for my studies really quick and allows me to go for some segmentation and detail in who I target in my sample.
- Chat support is responsive and helpful. It's nice to get connected to a customer care agent quickly and they almost always serve you with a solution to the issue.
- The feature set of User Testing is constantly growing and getting more refined. I appreciate the ability to card sort or launch other types of methods.

- There was a problem integrating our CRM at first, and to be honest, I almost switched to another product because it's a big deal for us, but they got it worked out significantly faster than any of us guessed it would take, so we stayed, and I'm glad it worked out.
- The main data point still missing is global revenue. I reached out and they said it's in the works. The software is making us money, so we're staying and hope this works out as fast as the CRM issue.

- The organization of the work spaces/dashboards could use some work.
- I don't feel as supported as I used to from a customer success perspective. I used to have dedicated, go-to professionals to reach out to about my account who knew my project context, account history, etc. Recently we've been pushed into general support pools, and it doesn't feel like my account gets any personalized attention anymore.
- I would like to see a more refined experience for collaborators - the test plans I share with them are plain text/hard to read.
- Would be nice to be able to conduct focus groups using this tool.

UserTesting has drastically changed the way we research. We are now conducting research at a scale and pace that would be impossible to replicate using our traditional recruitment methods. Additionally, the ease of sharing information and findings out of UserTesting has made our research more dynamic and engaging to stakeholders. We can't imagine a situation in which we step backwards now that we have demonstrated the expansion capability UserTesting provides to an in-house UX research practice.

Overall a great tool with very useful features. It's UI seems a bit clunky and there is no full dashboard. Without these it takes a bit of work to find what you need and get an overview of current activity. Also, implementing everything takes a bit of work. I would recommend it to any saas that is serious about scaling and has a customer success dept

It was a little confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature. In fact, the more tests you run, the more confident you get with the system, creating a virtuous cycle in which your testing gets better while your efficiency improves. I had no problems training my staff and colleagues on how to use the tool. Even non-designers were able to use it with ease eventually.

Philipp has been there for us throughout the process. Very nice guy and a great help. He guided us in setting KPIs, goals, healthscores. Really gave us a lot more than we wanted. We also had some custom integrations and even though they did not support them, their team released a patch for our CRM so we could integrate it

Support is pretty responsive via a chat or email. The knowledge base on the website is pretty straightforward. I didn't really have a big challenge when using the platform initially. There is no learning curve per se, you choose what user testing you want, select your audience, choose the payment and off you go

From a technical perspective, the implementation was extremely smooth. Most of the change management / implementation hurdles were clearing use of the tool through our various security, legal, and information privacy teams. Once these concerns were addressed (UserTesting.com was very helpful in providing all the needed documentation), the implementation process was very simple and we were able to get going right away.

This software makes it easy to analyze your data and optimize your onboarding - maybe the easiest I've seen, but you've got to be willing to dig into its features and setting. And of course without their Concierge Onboarding this is not so easy.

Previously used UserZoom. They did the job to a certain extent but after not being completely satisfied and shopping around we re-trialed UserTesting and [were] pleasantly surprised. Much better than when we had previously trialed UserTesting 12 months previously.
