Likelihood to Recommend The scenario we most commonly use Hunter for is to quickly find and retrieve contact email information. Phone numbers are an added bonus, but they tend to only be available for contacts in the US. SDRs have the extension in order to confirm or to help them "guess" as to what a contact's email address might be. This speeds up our prospecting time considerably. Where Hunter falls short is not being flexible where companies have more than one email format.
Read full review Lusha is well suited for sales teams that have a clear target of companies to reach. It needs to work with LinkedIn, so if you have a Premium Sales Navigator LinkedIn license your results will be much better. It still works for teams without Sales Navigator licenses, but I highly recommend to buy the license.
Read full review Pros Hunter provides a quick and easy way to look up the email format for any company using the free Google Chrome extension. Hunter allows you to upload a bulk list of emails and verify them easily. Hunter shows where verified emails were found on web pages and PDF documents. This shows that the emails were published by trusted sources. If a company has not listed any email addresses online, then Hunter is not going to be able to find it. Sometimes Hunter is only able to identify non-personal-specific email addresses (ex: info @, support@, etc.). This makes it difficult to identify personnel emails Sometimes companies will have different email domains that Hunter is not able to correlate. For example, when searching for an email address at Lead.com, Hunter is not able to point to ParentCompany.com email addresses that would be more useful. Read full review It would be nice to have a general idea of how many contacts it has information for on a particular account at the very start before scrolling through the different pages. It would be great to also have the titles of individuals on the list, so it's quicker to sift who to keep in or exclude prior to revealing details. No product is perfect! Some of the information generated can be inaccurate or generic, e.g., a phone number for a persona may not be direct for that individual but could be a general customer service number for the company and could be the same number listed for multiple prospects. Read full review Implementation Rating Platform setup is very easy and friendly. Lusha is not complicated as other competitors like Zoom and Discover org etc.; easy to use and discover candidates for our roles. All of our recruiters find this platform very user-friendly, and they are very happy using this service. Admin support from Lusha is always available, and they are ready to help and educate our team.
Read full review Alternatives Considered We have been trying to get lead information on SalesTools and PLENTY, however, these two tools are mostly oriented to create follow-up campaigns and the setup is pretty complicated. If you are looking to create just a list of semi-qualified leads, you may try Hunter, but SalesTools has already an inner feature to build prospects in a better way.
Read full review Zoominfo is on par with Lusha in terms of quality of contacts but is far more expensive. Hunter.io is fine if you only need business contacts but fails in comparison with Lusha's broader options. I have used other solutions but they did not come close to working and I don't even remember what they were.

I don't always get the results I want, but I use the free version and I'm satisfied to go there first when I need an email It's a fast quality product. It was better before when it resided on my LinkedIn account, but that's another matter...
