Indeed Sponsored Jobs allows employers to sponsor their job postings for increased visibility. Sponsoring a post also allows employers to view resumes of candidates who might be a fit and send them invitations to apply for open roles.

Indeed is by far the best performer in terms of candidate flow and quality of applicant & hire.
Indeed Sponsored Jobs has a better reach for the hourly positions that we are trying to fill, while the other platforms speak to a different clientele. There are some that I will not use again just because their platforms are too cumbersome to use, and they have not provided …
As I mentioned earlier, everyone knows what Indeed is so that's a huge plus. I don't tend to get the number of candidates coming in with either of the others I've used in the past. Almost a waste of money if I'm being honest, I'd rather post 3 or 4 similar positions on Indeed …
Indeed has been our main source of recruitment for the past 5 years. The others do not match up with the number of applicants and the overall quality of candidates.
Using indeed for ongoing job needs is great as the job ad will be there for an extended period of time. The use of Indeed for a quick need-to-hire tomorrow situation has been tough. I have found that it may take a few days to gather good applications.
PeopleMatter is well suited for location based, hourly hiring, and I would highly recommend it for onboarding in any scenario. It is not well suited today for corporate or professional recruiting. The onboarding and compliance components serve all audiences very well.
Immediate response, that's what I need. I post the job, there is no waiting one day or two hours to respond to the candidates.
Gives me better visibility, better ability to choose different candidates, I've tried sponsored jobs with deal-breakers and non-deal-breakers. Sometimes is best not to have a deal-breaker for certain jobs because I might pass on a candidate I wouldn't have thought to maybe take a look at.
I've also used the instant match, I'm starting to get better at qualifying those candidates and I had a few applicants from that.
Simplifies the On-boarding process. Easy to find and sort through applicants based on the individual store needs. Ensures all onboarding is complete before moving forward with the new hire.
Integrations aid us in ensuring data flows through all systems based on our needs. Ensure the data is correct and duplicate entries no longer need to be made.
Customer service is quick to answer and solve your questions.
System is simple to use, our restaurant managers love the look and feel of the product.
The biggest area for improvement that I see is the automatic job collapsing for posts that are coming from the same company, same title but different locations. A lot of our locations are hiring hourly team members and are within 10-15 miles of each other. This issue significantly reduces the number of applicants that we see and makes our lives as recruiters more difficult when we need to try and manage 75 locations across both concepts that are potentially hiring for 2-3 positions at a time.
I wish PeopleMatter had an option to limit the visibility of attachments. The MyDocuments section allows one to upload important documents pertaining to the employee but because we use PeopleMatter like an online employee file... there are just some things the employee does not need to see.
PeopleMatter has an option to have the employer upload documents they wish new hires to view and sign before their first day (i.e. policies, handbooks, etc.). However, it would be nice to make certain documents available to the job that the document pertains to. For example, there is a delivery driver statement that should be reviewed and signed by delivery drivers but this document shows up for all the other positions too such as for servers, cooks, and bartenders who do not need to read or review this document.
I use Indeed Sponsored Jobs pretty much on a daily basis. As a recruiter this would be the first thing, I renew to help me succeed in my role as a staff recruiter.
I would definitely renew our use of PeopleMatter, because it would not be beneficial or cost effective for us to go back to doing it in house. If they are willing to listen to our needs and wants and update the program for the better on a regular basis why would you. I feel like we got in on the ground floor and we are evolving with them
They continue to improve their platform. Although sometimes adding more functions can decrease usability, Indeed is very good at adding definitions and information in a very user-friendly way. You are truly able to customize your service and job ads in a way that benefits you and your company. You also have complete control over your ad and your budget
Our Indeed support team far exceeds the support I've received from any other recruitment platform. We have a dedicated account executive AND a client support specialist, both of whom go out of their way to assist with everything from making our job ads more effective to make the billing process more transparent. They are a rock star team that truly takes the stress out of recruiting!
The account reps were easily reachable. I have made different types of recommendation, especially about the communication part. There are videos and a help center with fairly quick response times. I can easily update my career site, and they even have a text to hire option. I have not used that yet, but we are discussing it.
Handshake is mainly for the college-age group. We have listed some of our jobs on here before, but never had a good turnout of applicants. We tried ZipRecruiter, but it was easier to manage all of our jobs if they were listed on one site. We would also sometimes have people apply on both our ZipRecruiter listing and our Indeed listing.
PeopleMatter is straight forward and easy to use - from the administrative side it is virtually an out of the box process. You plug in your locations, jobs, and availabilities, know your Onboarding steps, add a link to your website an go! It's not perfect but this was our first experience with any type of applicant tracking/onboarding/LMS - the reporting is more dynamic now than in the beginning and it is an evolution into what we truly can use!
We have reduced the followups with hiring almost by 90%.
With reduced follow-ups, we don't have to have multiple people wasting their time on making sure that all hires have completed the required documentation.
We had zero failures in missing hiring documentation.
No more paper performance appraisals. Everything is online and easily trackable.
