Switched to Klaviyo for ecommerce. I've used HubSpot and Eloqua (now Oracle) for years before and found all of these other tools much easier to use than Iterable.

Besides Klaviyo which has native integration, and plugins with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Iterable's integration capability is more robust compared to other platforms such as Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp, and Mailjet when a business is using Shopify. Iterable supports …
I admittedly don't remember much of Klaviyo, as I have become so familiar with Iterable. I definitely prefer Iterable, however. There are so many more features in Iterable and it just feels like a more dynamic and comprehensive experience with more granular data than Klaviyo …
If you're still using SFMC do yourself a favor and explore some of the newer options available. Iterable is a strong competitor unless you need the B2B and account based marketing/support teams all in a single platform. Klaviyo is great and best for small-medium size companies …
Iterable had the most robust personalisation features (handlebars, data catalog, snippets, robust segmentation) and multi-language support. Additionally, security features were higher than those of other alternatives. Close follow-up was Braze, and other platforms were compared …
We are still evaluating but the cost of switching has been the primary reason. In the past, other platforms have not had multi-channel messaging but that is no longer the case.

Iterable was more competitive in pricing, the segmentation technology was extremely advanced and fast in comparison with the competitors we analysed, and deliverability and reliability of the system have been fantastic.
Iterable has an easier UI, with a great educational center to be up to date on the product. Iterable also helps manage different locales in one template and create different projects to manage different databases. Lately, with the integration with Snowflake, will allow an easy …
Iterable is generally better than many providers at handling large data sets and making them usable. Their workflow builder is one of the best, if not the best, I've seen and used. They also beat some other providers by having the number of channels they support and their …
The reason why I enjoy Iterable is that (1) they have an easy-to-use email builder, (2) their folder system makes finding campaigns more efficient, (3) their built on data which allows us to create highly dynamic and segmented campaigns, (4) they have a great journey builder …
Based on the way that we send emails, we decided to go with Iterable. We loved the different features that they had. The main decision for us was the option of the catalog. We saw great potential for this feature and it has definitely helped us tremendously with our email …
- Scalability: as I mentioned, Stayforlong serves more than 3 Million travellers in 40 markets and 32 languages. We managed to build a robust CRM strategy with only 2 members on the CRM team, which helped us expand the channels with a really small, lean team. - Real-time relevance: for us, having the latest available offer is a must; we need to offer the rooms that are available in real time, because the inventory is live.
For us, the ability to apply properties and segment users as we do has been the biggest boon to our marketing endeavors. We use hundreds of properties to ensure customers receive truly tailored content. Being able to build that out with the Klaviyo x WooCommerce integration and Klaviyo's APIs was a major differentiator for us as our business grew.
Customer Journey creation - the platform easily creates a visual path for the marketing team to curate messaging based around timing, channel, behavior as well as add split testing logic and exit criteria so we target only the audiences we want.
Customer Success - one of the best teams I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I'm able to move so much quicker because they really create a helpful partnership.
Audience segmentation, the platform is easy to work with even if you're a first time user, they do a great job of visually showing the logic and the and/or/none type rules.
Very easy to setup Klaviyo with Bigcommerce for email & SMS capture, comes with templates that are simple to edit and publish.
Very easy to set up Klaviyo with other 3rd party apps like Yotpo Reviews and Loyalty, giving you easy access to send emails based on loyalty points or asking for a review.
Automated campaigns are a breeze! They come with preset templates to get started quick. Including a Welcome Series, Cart Abandonment Series, Lost Customer Series, and Browse Abandonment Series among others.
The platform is easy to navigate and use without having to spend time learning from videos or help files, we were able to just jump right in and use it.
Great features like targeting based on anything available in your data, including products purchased, loyalty standing, interactions, etc.
In-app channel, although it works, has some shortcomings in UI functionality or system backend logic, which suggests it is built on an email send-out architecture.
Drag and drop editor has its own limitations - it isn't perfect. You can't create some basic designs.
Needs more visible critical notifications as we once exceeded our monthly email limit right during the Black Friday campaign. The notification was not visible enough for us to catch it on time, as a result, some emails scheduled to be sent over the weekend were never sent
Better library of dynamic values available for use inside emails
Its a robust platform that can serve complex business needs. Current and futures. It tries to adapt an newest trends and has good CS and CSM specialists.
Klaviyo is simply a great solution for e-com email marketing & customer relationship management:
User journey visibility: We can see our clients' customers on their individual user journeys (open email, site visits) to better understand and accommodate your customers.
Flow automation: Creating automated emails that follow up with new leads, those who abandoned carts, purchased.
Email design: So easy to use, and more friendly than some other visual builders that we've used.
Metrics visibility: We can see our clients' metrics very easily and adjust efforts accordingly.
The only reason why I did not give it a 10/10 is that it cannot distinguish purchases that came through subscription recharges instead of purchases that were driven directly by email sends. Other than that, the automation qualities, design features, and segmentation options make this an incredible email platform, and I am very happy with it
Iterable is there like 99.9% of the time. However, when it goes down, it grinds us to a halt. Most of the time, outages are an hour or less, but if that's at a peak time, it can be a nightmare. That said, when the worst does happen, there are frequent updates and an easy situation tracker that give you an estimate of how much longer you'll have to wait for the issue to be resolved.
The API is super quick. The UI can be a little sluggish depending on what you're loading, but overall Iterable performs great. Iterable appears to do a good job of making processes async so that one action isn't blocking another.
I've never experienced any issues with Iterable. As I and my colleagues have learnt the system and it's features, response to questions and advice from our account manager is always quick. Kevin knows the product well, and with the few tricky questions has hasn't been able to answer he's been quick to get back to us.
Their support is always quick and we have recurring meetings with our advisor. they were great when we first started at walking us through the platform and helping us understand how to do the overall setup. They also have a wide variety of articles that cover must issues in a very clear manner that will get you out of a predicament really fast.
Don't cut corners, do it right the first time, if you take your time to build everything the way you want it then it will run itself. The platform will help you increase revenue as long as you use the tools it provides. Don't be scared to ask questions, the support team will help you get to the next level
My understanding is that Mailchimp has evolved a lot since we moved to Iterable 4 years ago, so any comparison is legacy. Keeping that in mind, Iterable is far more sophisticated, especially the journey builder, personalised STO by user and segmentation.
Klaviyo's ability to really tackle the entire marketing contact ecosystem on one platform is what really won us over. The price for everything was competitive, not necessarily the cheapest but competitive, and the ability to see that data flow from every interaction was what was crucial to us. Additionally, Klaviyo is the core of our B2C business. We were not focused on anything other than how we interact with customers directly, and Klaviyo was a direct win for us. The one negative is Klaviyo's ability to work with our B2B side of our business, because it doesn't integrate with platforms like HubSpot. That is a massive downside, but the upside justified the investment.
I picked Mail250 because they seem designed for sending 1-time bulk mail for an affordable price. Open rates for MailerLite, GetResponse, ConvertKit, and SendPulse were all over 50%. Sender.net was extremely low at under 10%. Mail250 was around 10%, but also had an extremely high bounce rate of 10%.
We've definitely tested scalability, and it's no line - it works. The process is pretty easy. Most of the times it goes off without a hitch. Any time we do encounter issues, our support team is quick to get on the job and very communicative as they work us through a successful launch.
I do not have hard numbers, as I am not in the department that deals with those kinds of quantifications of impact. However, I do believe the use of Iterable has been a positive thing for us in providing more comprehensive data that is useful when dealing with customer tickets.
