Recruiting / ATS
Comparison of Recruiting / ATS features of Product A and Product B
Jobvite was very useful when used to onboard our new hires. Being a Human capital management company, we hire many individuals on a weekly basis so it helps us keep all of the paperwork organized and prevent any accidents when managing all of the data. Sometimes it does pose a problem for those who are not technologically savvy.
First of all, I would like to point out that the application is very popular by many companies. Whether you're in the sales department or any other department, whenever you want to find the contact information of any company executive, Signalhire will help you just in time. For example, I recently found the contact information of the CEO of the company I wanted to reach, thanks to the application.
I don't understand why SignalHire presents itself as a recruitment tool when in fact it is perfect for sales. With SignalHire I can find contact details of potential prospects by their Linkedin accounts and by contact details I don’t only mean emails but also phone numbers which a lot similar tools have difficulty finding. Its accuracy is a lot higher than other apps I have used when it comes to emails.
Custom fields--custom fields do not follow the candidate from hire to onboarding. This is problematic because we then have to recreate on the onboarding side to then import into our HRIS.
Onboarding picklists are time-consuming to populate. We have to enter options one at a time, rather than being able to do an import. Also, field mapping on Hire is a lot easier than having to set up tags on option sets in onboarding.
Phone number finding can be improved as it is precisely correct less than 50% of time. Also generally similar apps have built in CRM systems which I think SignalHire should implement as well. Also I wish the number of free credits was higher since you get 5 credits and when I tried this for the first time three out of five emails were wrong and I almost opted for another tool.
If I were to become an internal recruiter again, I would almost definitely use Jobvite. I liked the fact that we could set up any job application link on our company web site to connect directly to Jobvite. I also liked that Jobvite made employee referral easy to submit, as employee referrals tend to be the highest quality candidates. Jobvite really has all the tools a recruiter needs to get a candidate through a recruiting process quickly without anything slipping through the cracks. Even though there are a lot of features I feel can be greatly improved, I don't think there is anything on the market today that is better than Jobvite
After using varios ATS's in the past, I have found most comfort and ease using jobvite. This tool has made the hiring process so easy to manage and just the fact that it is not complicated to use, makes it even better
Support used to be better. In the last few years, though, I feel like there has been significantly less investment in customer service. We used to have account managers who were very visible and always checking in. Also, there used to be a phone number to get around-the-clock support. I am not sure that that exists at the quality it used to
Before implementing Jobvite, we had iCIMS and Kronos Workforce Ready. Neither of these products got us where we wanted to be with metrics, candidate experience, or technology. I'm sure since we left them they have updated, but we are much happier with Jobvite than others. In the process of searching for a new ATS, we attended demonstrations of 9 other applicant tracking systems and were most impressed with Jobvite.
Normally, we have used other applications than SignalHire, but if you ask what's the difference, the first one is that it gives you 100% correct information and the cost is suitable for every pocket. So the information provided by most applications may be wrong, but I did not encounter this in SignalHire.
Reporting - we had none before other than manually tracking things in excel documents, now we have a full suite of reports and dashboards we can customize.
Interview Scheduling - With the candidate self-scheduling feature, we can now schedule interviews in a matter of seconds while also automating the candidate confirmation email and the calendar invites.
More detailed source tracking than I have seen in any other product allowing full visibility on who we hire, where they came from and we can now analyze our sources.
It is our biggest helper in not losing time for company employees because it finds and gives you the information in a few seconds without wasting time, without searching for hours.
Of course, it has an expense in terms of money, but it deserves it with the time and efficiency it saves.
