Zoho Forms

Even if you cannot afford to pay for a Form builder, along with your CRM, i would strongly recommend Zoho Forms as it has the best mobile app as compared to other tools. The form submission notifications in the form of app notification, email or SMS is a very strong feature of Zoho Forms as well as other features like integration with other apps and form approval feature. However if you have 3 users for the free version of Zoho, only one of them will be able to use Zoho Forms which turns out to be a negative point of this app.

Pros

Jotform

  • It is even easier to use now than it was when I first started using it. I was pleasantly pleased with the changes made to the software.
  • The many things it can do. The data is downloadable in many different formats but my favorite is Excel, which gives me the flexibility to sort the data as needed.
  • My favorite is the fact that it is now so easy to share the links and a QR code is generated for you!
  • It optimizes easily for viewing on the laptop, tablet or cell phone.

Jotform

  • I would love for Jotform to offer an a la carte for some of the products like maybe we pay for more form views and submissions but not all the other stuff.
  • Flexibility in css.
  • More options in the name field, maybe I want the last name first or for it to be a full one entry box.
  • A phone number entry field.

It is very user-friendly and intuitive. The interface is very simple and straightforward. The elements are easily accessible even without having any prior knowledge of the interface. The customer support is incredibly awesome. They respond to you within 24-48hrs tops. They also provide a list of questions and answers that have already been asked.

The user interface and user experience is outstanding, seems like a lot of hard work has been put into it by the design, development and product teams. The fonts used are optimal, the icons and menu bars are well placed, the colors are very friendly to the eye and the standard white background is beautifully adjusted to the user expectations. The sliders are well designed and you can easily find whatever menu/option/feature you are looking for without much hassle.

Their support is truly awful and negligent [in my opinion]. It's rare for me to get so mad as to write a review about it but given what we do, I think it's necessary to document it. We work in mental health and having client data [transmitted] through the API correctly can be a matter of life and death for someone in crisis. We have had repeated issues with this in JotForm and reset the integration multiple times and yet it continues. [In my experience] tags don't transmit, complete contacts are absent, or parts of data [are] missing despite being mapped. [Again, per my experience] their support will initially respond and then you hear nothing. It's been a huge issue and we are leaving them as a result. [I feel] it's truly infuriating and negligent.

Alternatives Considered

Jotform

JotForm is superior compared to Google Forms in most aspects. However, the lack of collaboration in the free version makes it less attractive if managing several forms. But the form functionality and features makes up for this. JotForm is clean in layout, and provides a user experience like nonother. Highly recommended.

I chose this software because it is very well integrated with other Zoho products which I am using. Apart from this it has mobile applications also which allows me to use this software from my mobile devices when I am traveling for work. Its mail merge feature is also one of the important reason to choose this software.

Return on Investment

Jotform

  • We have generated over 130 leads last month. This is a 150% increase from the prior month's numbers.
  • We can give multiple staff members access to the forms. That's a plus in itself. It works well with virtual assistants also. This gives us [a] tremendous amount of flexibility which cuts down on nonrepetitive work.
  • We like that JotForm has a referral program. We will start to take full advantage of this program to develop more win-win relationships with not only clients but our vendors.
