Likelihood to Recommend I wouldn't recommend Kajabi for someone that's starting to figure out what their product is going to be and who is the target audience. While one could argue the starting price point isn't high compared to having a brick and mortar store, it's also not practical pay between $100-$200 a month while the business figures out their offer. Kajabi is better suited for someone who has already tested their product, specifically courses, and can start selling it relatively soon after launching their Kajabi site. While Kajabi has come out with a coaching and community products, those are still in their infancy. The strength of Kajabi is in their course content delivery supported by the ability to have a simple website and email marketing system in the same platform.

Overall as a fitness center management solution, Mindbody is by far the best product we have used and they have evolved their capabilities in good alignment with our needs as well.

Read full review Mindbody does a great job of sending out reminder emails to clients so they do not miss a class. Mindbody does a great job at giving instructors a fast and easy way to check in clients and to see who is all signed up for their classes for the week. Mindbody has a great payroll feature. All you have to do is set the dates and it generates a nicely laid out PDF of all the classes you taught during that time period and what you have made from them. Read full review Cons The inbuilt themes are excellent but sometimes a small change is required to improve it - that then requires a code change which must then be reapplied if Kajabi issue an upgrade. Once you get the "hang" of it, Kajabi is a very powerful platform. But it does take an investment of time. Kajabi also has a best-practice way of doing things and I feel that it is worth paying for skilled support to get through the setup quickly. I wish there were more tracking of all transactions done on the clients or operations end to be able to review history and learn from mistakes. The Mindbody branded app connection needs more attention. Please add a covid vaccination checker to the application (not just to use in the web browser). Read full review Usability In my opinion, it's not perfect, but it's better than anything else out there. There are frustrations with it's limitations, but almost any and all issues we've ever had have been solvable, which I think is key and important to note. Overall it's a generally robust system that supports digital entreprenuers selling digital products in a way that nothing else can. It's Kajabi or bust!
Read full review Settings are often buried, user interface rules vary depending on whether it's a newer feature or an older one. From daily usage, people learn how it works and get used to it, but it's not something someone could just pick up without any training or hand-holding.

Read full review Support Rating The Kajabi Support people are helpful, fast and knowledgeable. I usually call in a panic - because I have lost something, messed something or am on a deadline. Sometimes we speak, or we do a chat. Always my angst is eliminated. I often thank the person for being "so patient" with me. LOL
Read full review Mindbody support takes forever to get back to you via email in my experience. The process is not as simple as it was back when they had the chat feature. I really wish they would bring that back! Most items are normally some weird glitch that they can fix in minutes but you have to wait days now.

Read full review Mindbody is really the only system of its kind that is widely used by fitness and yoga studios. Its app is the industry standard for looking up and signing up for classes, so most students rely on it exclusively. If there were another viable alternative it would have to promise more ease of use and intuitive backend.

With Kajabi, the ability to offer old programs that have been offered in the past is easy to present to one-off customers or when not in a launch series. [In my experience], less senior agents need to stop guessing or going with "I think so" and talk to a senior agent to make sure what they are telling the client is correct. The app is good exposure.
