MiVoice 250 / Office Application Suite (discontinued) vs. Wingman (legacy product)

Mitel is useful for larger organizations where instant messaging can be used throughout departments and in-house phones need to be set to cell phones. I wouldn't say that it's not appropriate for smaller organizations, but they might not need all of the robust features that Mitel offers. The user experience is extremely intuitive and organizations of any scale will be able to easily navigate it.

Wingman would be well suited for any organisation with more than 5+ reps in their sales team. Recording all the demo calls will create a playbook which will help the reps learn from each other and also to ramp up new reps with how to conduct the demo and discovery calls

• Call reporting
• Voicemail system and transfers: This is one of my favorite features! I am able to transfer voicemails and leave notes for my team. It also comes in an email notification.

• Filtering calls by keywords - saves you time so that you don't have to listen to entire calls.
• Creating game tapes - so that you can easily onboard new team members.
• Great support team (love for Sushma).
• Much cheaper than competitors.

• It would be nice if they had more documentation on how to do things within the system that was easier to find.
• The software has so many features that it can be overwhelming.

• Searching for specific calls (you can scroll through the list, but that takes time)
• The dashboard isn't as user friendly as it could be, but a seasoned user can navigate it just fine
• The AI-driven insights aren't always accurate but are still very useful nonetheless

I think Wingman is one of the best software in their segment. Very few companies are cost-effective and offer similar solutions.

Super user friendly tool! There are some features that I think might be improved over time, like navigation assistance or tutorials, and quick tips, like how to ensure calls always get recorded, how to add Wingman to calls last-minute, or how to use their playlist feature Game Tapes, but those are nice to haves, not need to haves.

Great technical support. My only recommendation would be to have staffed support after hours. They have an after hours answering service and while the technicians always called back it would be good to reach support immediately 24/7. Technicians are very knowledgeable and helpful as is their sales staff. They also have great training to take.

Wingman is always quick and thorough with their support and often offer to proactively connect on Zoom. I love that.

In retrospect, Mitel was not the right solution for us but it has sufficed while we look for a replacement that integrates with our CRM. Skype for Business was being phased out, we were currently using RingCentral, and we anticipated the conversion back to ShoreTel (we had a hosted environment in the past) would be similar to our previous experience with the system. The Cloud-based software and technology, however, did not meet up to the hosted environments capabilities, at least when it came to call-management

Gong is expensive but it has a lot better AI/Intelligence feature compared to Wingman. Wingman definitely does the job, is cheap, and also support is pretty amazing and I personally like Shruti a lot in terms of what she is doing in this space. Also, Wingman is in an Indian company.

• Efficient, easy to use conference system for better communication

• Training of new Sales representatives has gone from 1 month to 2 weeks using Wingman as part of the training tools.
• The transcripts have also helped us to decrease the number of disputes "Lost" on Stripe, by providing evidence needed to win the case.
