HS is used with the new company I recently started working with. In my previous role, we had utilized Pipedrive and then eventually migrated to HS.
Chose HubSpot CRM
(NOT SURE IF I TAGGED THE RIGHT VERSION OF Salesforce) My previous organization built so many customizations in Salesforce that it made it nearly impossible to use them efficiently, and it wasn't very good. Finance ran the show on the CRM adoption and didn't consult sales …
Chose HubSpot CRM
- much more user friendly
- less bugs/mistakes
- i liked pipedrives deal layout though
Chose HubSpot CRM
Pipedrive is much better,. Its simpler to look at. UI/UX needs to be much better
Chose HubSpot CRM
It is more sales-focused and has more robust features that integrate with other areas of our business, such as the website, marketing, and automating tasks and follow-up emails. The other apps required more work as CRMs, whereas Hubspot seemed more plug-and-play.
Chose HubSpot CRM
I answered in a previous question.
Chose HubSpot CRM
HubSpot provides more features when it comes to managing contacts and automating activities. HubSpot also provides a better solution when it comes to cooperating between teams.
Chose HubSpot CRM
I am not sure. I came to the company with Hubspot already in place but obviously it fits well to us.
Chose HubSpot CRM
At the time of selection, HubSpot had a better user interface, integration capability and combined functionality of several marketing tools in one.
Chose HubSpot CRM
It is ten times more effective than alternative solutions and a lot more cost-efficient.
Chose HubSpot CRM
More marketing data. Easy process from marketing to sales.
trackable data and much more filters
ease of making meetings with customers.
Chose HubSpot CRM
Hubspot works better than the others and is more useful for the overall team. It isn't the best for an adtech environment as we use different metrics to make our deal happen but it is customizable so we have put some work into it to make it suit our needs
Chose HubSpot CRM
HubSpot provides a much more robust product than Pipdrive. It also offers the education component that we didn't have with Pipdrive. I also looked at Salesforce, which offered a much more complicated learning tool for our students. Hands down, HubSpot is the best choice for …
Chose HubSpot CRM
In the growing phase of our organization and new users, HubSpot was abe to communicate effectively what to do to learn the system and also the help of the overseas persons made us more informed on learning. The helpdesk was very helpful in assisting with any queries and also …
Chose HubSpot CRM
Hubspot is ideal for a smaller set up like ours that requires less onboarding time, easy to set up without having to pay for a consultant, extremely friendly UX and also lighter on the pocket compared to SFDC.
Chose HubSpot CRM
In all of them you can create sales funnels, assign follow-up tasks and view reports. We use HubSpot because it has more functionalities to automate business processes, which is the part that I see comparing functionality versus price.
Chose HubSpot CRM
hubspot seemed like the better fit. i was not involved in the full decision process but when i tried both i enjoyed the hubspot feel better and it was more simply laid out for us. i gave my feedback back to our team and they made the decision from there.
Chose HubSpot CRM
Each did not have all the features we use in HubSpot, and did not display data/information as easily as HubSpot.
Chose HubSpot CRM
All in one integration. You can use it for all of what they have to offer.
Chose HubSpot CRM
We looked at a number of CRMs, and there's a reason we went with HubSpot CRM. It was the best value, the best customer support, the best learning ecosystem, and most customizable without having to hire another member of the team to do all the customization. HubSpot CRM is the …
Chose HubSpot CRM
HubSpot is having a very good interface for both Marketing and sales communication. Also in sales, we have more options to create reports and present them. Also, email sequencing was the primary differentiator we were looking into.
Pipedrive
Chose Pipedrive
Pipedrive has an excellent UI, email tracking features, and the ability to display contact information and notes about each individual. It allows us to integrate other systems with a high degree of automation, which is crucial to our workflow. Easy to pick up and use, with …
Chose Pipedrive
It is easier to use and more specific. I think HubSpot has a lot and can be overwhelming or confusing at the start. It is cheaper, and the automation is easier to configure. I think it is a better option to start with Pipedrive software. Try it and check for yourself.
Chose Pipedrive
Pipedrive is less complex and far more affordable. It is missing some of the marketing tools (email marketing, adspend tracking, etc.) But for a small team this tool is far superior. It cuts out the fluff and focuses on helping you manage a pipeline. And the cost is a million …
Chose Pipedrive
Better integrations, dashboards, reporting, and tasks
Chose Pipedrive
I'm a huge fan of HubSpot. It is more aligned with how most salespeople work than any other CRM out there. It's modern enough that you don't have to spend hours trying to figure out how to do things. While they continue to raise the price, it is still a great value.
Chose Pipedrive
Pipedrive is extremely lightweight, but extremely powerful as you get deeper into it. My 61 year old father will use it, when he won't even use email on desktop. Pipedrive is inexpensive and easy to adopt. It's also easy to adapt, adding custom fields, deal stages, and other …
Chose Pipedrive
Pipedrive is nowhere near as capable as Salesforce, but it's also much easier to manage. I think of Pipedrive as a simple version CRM that is good for managing inbound lead's interests in an organized way. When you have a larger sales structure with different components and …
Chose Pipedrive
I think that for a smaller sales team and for simply getting your reps off of pen and paper and into a digital system that can be managed, Pipedrive is the perfect system to get the sales team moving and thinking along the lines of a team selling approach. What Pipedrive is not …
Chose Pipedrive
Pipedrive is more expensive but does all of the following better: Data import and export is simple, you can efficiently manage your company’s sales pipeline, and it offers full sales management features. Ultimately, the full feature set is what we needed at that point in time …
Chose Pipedrive
Pipedrive is a mature product that is feature-rich, but simple. It can be used as minimally as possible and is still a fantastic contact manager. But it is robust, and can really automate a lot of the sales process if used correctly.

In my last position at a SAAS company, I used Salesforce and HATED IT. It was so clunky, and when I used HubSpot, it was like a breath of fresh air. Any company that does customer interactions and sales needs Hubspot. There is a TON of room for customization, which is AMAZING. I don't see anywhere that it wouldn't be a good fit.

Pipedrive's lead management features are top-notch, particularly the ability to automate email correspondence and receive alerts when necessary. It has an excellent pipeline, opportunity management, and sales automation without coding: —Exceptional cost-effectiveness. —User-friendliness. —Usability. —Top-notch search filter. However, its speed could be increased because adding new actions requires numerous taps and swipes.

Pros
HubSpot
  • It tracks emails including opens, clicks, and keeps a great log.
  • I love how they give you options to build your own reports as well as some templated reports as well.
  • It creates an easy way to work with your colleagues even if its remote positions.

  • Great visual visibility of the funnel plus easy to drag the deals across the stages
  • The email integration that collects all relevant communication (also through the possibility of adding a deal-specific Pipedrive address on BCC)
  • The integration with Pandadoc, which we use a lot, so that Pipedrive keeps a really handy overview of the documents we have sent out / which have been signed

Cons
HubSpot
  • Pricing - HubSpot offers a number of great features in the free version however the paid options can be pricey.
  • The free version could do with more options in some of the additional areas such as the marketing platform. Although there are some options included, they are very limited.

  • Showing the customers name on the pipeline page. Right now I can only get it to show the brand name twice. I wish it would replace the second brand name with the main point of contact.
  • Better reporting tools. Their reporting tools are not easy to pick up. I've spent time trying to figure it out and it isn't something I can pick up on quickly.
  • Better training options. I wish I had a personal trainer to walk me through the best way to use Pipedrive so I can get the most out of it.

To be honest there are some barriers due to which we are unable to use Hubspot at it's full potentials. The region that we work in has some restrictions that don't allow us to make calls or text which leaves us to just Email to the client.

Usability
HubSpot
I think the usability is great. I am able to train a new agent with zero experience in our process with HubSpot in a day or less. They can be proficient in using HubSpot quickly, the way I've designed it to work, in less than a week. I am able to load new leads, set calling campaigns, and start prospecting quickly. I've even had to call customer service for help, and they were super helpful.

There is a learning curve that caused a slow adoption but overall the UI looks great and the support is helpful when there is an issue that you need to be addressed. The marketplace integrations (developed by Pipedrive) could definitely use some work as they're not as seamless as we'd hoped for!

Because when I needed help HubSpot responded immediately and provided me with the information I needed which enabled me to realize that HubSpot was even more customizable and easier to use than I thought! And I already thought HubSpot was very user friendly and easy to use, and then Support showed me how to manipulate the settings, columns and the appearance of the tool.

Between quick video tutorials and having very quick feedback from their support teams, it is one of the main reasons I would recommend Pipedrive. It is critical, especially when setting up the platform to meet your companies needs, that a solid support team like Pipedrive has is there to make the transition easier.

Salesforce requires a lot of in-depth knowledge both to implement and to manage. I found it to be quite clunky and there was an additional overhead for any marketing functionality, that wasn't up to par. Whilst Zoho had some good features, in practice the CRM was difficult to manage, customer support was non-existent, and like Salesforce, required 3rd party support agents in order make simple changes. comparison, HubSpot allows the user to make many changes themselves such as adding and mapping properties, and also has excellent customer service. Combined with a well-rounded offer in terms of marketing, analytics and a good CRM, HubSpot stands out as the clear winner.

I much prefer the interface of Pipedive when compared to Zoho. Much more user friendly and the team is always readily available when we need them. Pipedrive allowed for many custom integrations to be added, as Zoho was a tad more complicated to manipulate. We would not go back to Zoho in any case.

Return on Investment
HubSpot
  • Automation helps to save time so that we can reach out to more prospecting or save time that can be spent on more strategic sales tasks like deal management
  • Visibility/collaboration helps connect marketing and sales efforts vs them being siloed
  • Connection with salesforce helps us to get more out of our CRM spend as we have valuable data insights coming from Hubspot

  • Pipedrive has had an extremely positive impact on our overall business objectives. More specifically, the return on investment has been magnified by the fact that it is fairly inexpensive.
  • I can recall 2-3 conversations which prompted my boss and myself to note how convenient Pipedrive is.
  • Like most companies, it can often feel like we are spinning many plates at once. Even when our team is not able to connect in person every day, our projects are capable of progressing. Pipedrive has allowed us to press forward where we (normally) would have lacked the communication necessary in doing so.
