Likelihood to Recommend Procore is well suited when there is an office staff to manage the application, if a company existed without an office staff then the field crews would have to maintain Procore. This could cause more problems than is solves. Otherwise having the ability to pick & choose different modules to suit our use cases is ideal
Read full review Yardi Voyager is well suited for any management company in the multifamily or commercial space and is a worthwhile competitor to other options in the space - MRI Software, Realpage, Resite, etc. For those med-large enterprises that value an intuitive and straightforward accounting and leasing system, and also work with other vendors that need to integrate with their ERP system, this is a great option. There is a large ramp-up time, requiring many company resources, and licensing is quite expensive, so this solution may not be for those companies with a small budget or personnel resources.

Keeping all items for a job in one location. I love that Procore is my one-stop shopping for all items related to my project. Read full review Yardi Property Management particularly excels at creating a system where it is easy to leave feedback for property managers because the data is available up front. Yardi is also a useful tool at integrating property management across the entire platform. It can be used for asset management as well even for the most nitty gritty details. It is also convenient to edit expenses inputted by the accounting department and managing those expenses forward for future budgeting. Read full review Cons Downloading drawing sets sometimes involves an extra step that holds up the process The dashboard is simplistic to the point that I don't feel like I am getting enough information about a specific project from the get-go Granting access to a project on Procore is not very straightforward as a consultant- restrictions sometimes cause hold-ups Read full review In my experience there's a fairly steep learning curve for a new user to be able to navigate the system While there's diverse functionality, many items seem buried in menus or obscure places, particularly the first time you're trying to find them Getting used to the refresh functionality in some parts of the system can be challenging if you're used to a system that automatically updates when new filters are applied Read full review Likelihood to Renew We will undoubtedly renew Procore as it has proven itself to be a means to better track and improve upon our efficiency and communications between job sites and their project managers as well as all other departments. Procore has made an incredible impact on how we, as a company, do our job on all levels; it is one of our most powerful and effective resources.
Read full review We have invested 5 years of setup, implementation and training on Voyager. It's doing a very good job for us and I feel we've only scratched the surface of its capabilities. Yardi support has been very responsive with very little down time. The training materials are great from Client Central
Read full review Usability 90% of Procore is very intuitive and any user can pick it up and go. There are a few elements, more so on the Financials side that need some prior knowledge of systems in order to understand how and why it functions as it does. Once this is understood, it flows effortlessly
Read full review I'm coming from the perspective of a fairly tech-adept person, so I didn't find the system too hard to learn. That said, I do feel some of the buried menus and the system's own internal search feature could use some improvement, but I have that feeling about the vast majority of CRMs I've ever used. There may be a little bit of a struggle to onboard/train up someone who isn't used to this sort of system, but once up and going it should be smooth sailing.
Read full review Reliability and Availability If you are working in an area with little to no signal, Procore will still allow you to get in the system and use it fully and will then update once you are at a place with a strong enough signal. Whether it be with wifi or LTE cell phone reception.
Read full review Performance For the most part Procore is very responsive. However there are times when it's a little slow but it's minimal.
Read full review Support Rating General Support for Project Management and Financials is consistent. The ERP support is never consistent and I do end up at times in a black hole. I have to continually reach out to get the issue resolved or get an update. The ERP support needs more of Procore's attention
Read full review The local office is very knowledgeable, however recently it seems that Yardi has begun to route calls offshore and the knowledge base there does not seem to be as strong as the USA based support centers. All customizations are done by offshore personnel, which presents issues in terms of the language barrier and time zone differences.
Read full review In-Person Training Procore's Implementation Team does a great job of ensuring users are confident in using the system. They run through a process of training sessions based on the tools you have purchased, and lay ou ta plan to help the power users configure the tool to suit the company's needs. They provide useful resources for certifications, support and ongoing training as well.
Read full review Online Training Procore's certification program and focused how-to training videos allowed for easy training that did not feel overwhelming. The way the certification programs were broken up into small parts made it seem much less daunting to complete. The training feels focused and does not overload users with too much information all at once.
Read full review Implementation Rating Iron out your cost code list in your accounting software before you link with Procore. Once the link is established that list is more or less permanent. Review the permission matrix carefully. It controls so much. You want to ensure the information provided to your users adequate but you also want to protect your sensitive data. Procore Financials are organized in a total contract value style. Any markup or Profit will need to be sent somewhere on your budget. This may be significantly different than the Cost budgeting that many contractors do
Read full review If you are converting from another system, grouping your properties by subsidy type seemed to help us. We were able to focus on a half dozen properties at a time, rather than the entire portfolio.
Read full review Alternatives Considered Procore has a clearer user interface and a wider variety of tools than any program I've used. Procore also lives up to their name in terms of helpful and fast customer service. There is always a Procore rep. that is available to contact, making any problems just a mini hurdle.
Read full review Onesite was broken, a lot. Yardi Voyager has been a much more stable platform. We have been operational for 3 years now and I cannot say that we have had any software downtime in 3 Years. But with Onesite, it was common to be down at least once a month for something that was not working correctly.
Read full review Scalability once in awhile Procore is down for a period of time, its frustrating when it happens but doesn't tend to last long.
Read full review Return on Investment The Procore service impacts on construction projects are effective and reliable on production acceleration. The collaboration is stable and easy files access and uploading of engineering drawings and plans is excellent. New project planning and project financial data management on Procore functions are excellent. Read full review We initially moved to Yardi from paper ledgers. This had a tremendous time-saving effect. Product was confusing and required training for some of our older staff members. Clients that used the product were initially hesitant to pay for the added cost, but with time were able to see the benefit to their software. Read full review ScreenShots
