I am a firm believer that communication is an essential thing within any organization or business. Microsoft has allowed us to increase communication efforts in a professional manner allowing us customizable email domains for zero cost to our organization. I know there are more features that we need to take advantage of, however, there is only so much time in the day.

The program design, project management, results, and measurement capabilities of MC4N, all based on the common data model for nonprofit, are the only solution available in the market built with and for the nonprofit sector. These, especially when utilized in combination with fundraising and/or grants, offer the best of all worlds for nonprofit seeking to improve impact transparency and program results.

We have both been utilizing certain components and not others since our development pre-dated the Microsoft for Nonprofit infrastructure. It left us with the reality that we could "lift and shift" to lock in with the Microsoft for Nonprofit schema and data model, though that would take considerable effort and with our limited resources, we're at the moment better off investing those resources in future development (net-new) vs. refactoring for little return. The use of the tools however have undoubtedly multiplied our ability to reach and serve community members.
