For non-technical people, Quickbase is a step up from individual Office Documents with no built-in workflow.

QB is extremely user friendly

QuickBase is very powerful where we manage our workflow and creating application by integrating different application on the QuickBase.

This platform is so easy to use and is truly a low-code platform.

We use Quickbase on regular basis

When I first started using QB over 10 years ago I never had to look at any documentation or take any tutorials. The UI is very intuitive. There are certainly more complexed features and you would definitely benefit from training, but most of the functionality makes sense. That said, I come from a full stack development background so I am more of a technical user who is not afraid to try things.

Our experience with Quickbase has been excellent. The tool is simple to use and quick to obtain. Our team found it really simple to create unique tools to meet the demands of our clients.

Usability depends on the user and their abilities. For builders, some parts are simple, but are growing more complex as more features are added or enhanced.

Quickbase is easy to use low/no-code database development application. We have been able to quickly and relatively easily develop internal QuickBase applications to support a variety of business needs.

More positive then negative experience

Almost everything works fine, with some weird limitation but somehow you can find a way around it.
Considering the prices and easiness to develop, this is an awesome system to build my business apps on.

For the end users I think it’s extremely usable. From a programming side it is relatively straight forward and easy to pick up. Some of the more recent updates have made it less usable as it seems to be turning into a watered down version of excel.

on the desktop end, quickbase does a really good job keeping the interface simple and easy to use and understand.

Up to this point the product has done everything that I have needed it to do. When I have needed assistance I have received it quickly and efficiently. As a repository it has been an indispensable tool and will continue to allow us the flexibility we need to move forward.

It is good for most applications. But not when you want to have custom buttons with custom labels. When you want a custom UI, it is nearly impossible. You have to use other tools such as 3/4GL languages or PAAS application development platforms such as Bubble.io

Despite it's amount of slight issues, the usability is still very easy

It's easy to set up. Easy to create new apps. Easy to build forms and reports. You don't have to be a developer to understand it. ANd it's completely modular - so you can build something basic and then make it better. A lot of the higher level functionality needs to be done by developers but that's fine.

easy to learn

We are able to create custom applications quickly and are able to make changes whenever required with no IT support. It allows us to administer our own custom built applications and gives us increased flexibility and customization when we need it. QuickBase is cloud based so there is no cost associated with maintaining the infrastructure.

It thinks like I do or vice versa

QuickBase can be learned quickly by non-developers. Out-of-the-box features are easy to setup and will solve 80% of workflows. It's versatile in usage, therefore QuickBase can be used for multiple departments.

Quick Base has done everything we have asked it to do and then some. Our original goal was to have one system for CRM that encompassed both the sales process and the customer management. We have gone w-a-y beyond that with analytics, project management, system bug logging, and historical effort reporting.
