What is Tillpoint?
Tillpoint is a POS & Business Management Platform designed to be capable of running an entire operation. Its modular design allows users to manage all areas of a business including sales, inventory, employees and accounting.
Tillpoint currently has over 25 apps, all of which are included in its subscription plans, resulting in a complete and centralised all-in-one solution.
The vendor states their cloud-based system was developed with scalability in mind and is suitable for all sized businesses across a range of industries, particularly hospitality, retail and services. Multi-store businesses, such as chains or franchises, will have access to the hierarchy feature, which allows businesses to manage and control simple to complex organisational business structures with accompanying access privileges.
Support and training are included as part of the subscription, as well as lifetime software updates and access to all future features and modules. Tillpoint also works offline, ensuring business continuity despite an uncooperative internet connection.

Flexible and Comprehensive Features: Users have praised Tillpoint for its flexibility and comprehensive nature, with several reviewers highlighting the software's ability to integrate multiple systems into one. They appreciate being able to customize features based on their business requirements, and some users even mentioned that it has more modules than other systems they've used in the past.
User-Friendly Interface: Numerous reviewers have noted how easy Tillpoint is to use, even without a qualified accountant. The user-friendly interface allows for simple navigation across various functions like EPOS pages, back-office management, stock control, and inventory management. Some users also appreciated the ability to color-code items to their liking.
Excellent Mobility: Several reviewers praised Tillpoint's mobility features that allow them to use it on iPads and tablets. It makes it easy for younger staff members who are familiar with using these devices as well as those who need access while moving around different locations within a store or restaurant. Additionally, some customers found the offline functionality especially useful when internet connectivity was poor.
Inconvenient Hardware Requirements: Some users have expressed frustration that Tillpoint is only compatible with specific printers and hardware, making it inconvenient for those who have different equipment. Additionally, some users had to purchase new printers that were compatible with Tillpoint, resulting in additional hardware costs.
Complicated Registration Process: Some users found the registration process to be unnecessarily complicated, especially when providing a postcode that is not common in their country.
Slow Release Cycle: Tillpoint's release cycle may be slower than some users would like for new features or modifications.
