Overall Satisfaction with 6sense

We use 6sense to monitor search intent on 200 keywords, and identify web visitor companies on our website. We have alerts that email to our sales reps every day notifying them of interest. 6sense also has an ad network so you can run targeted campaigns to attract those companies in segments we've set up. There are many ad options. We also use 6sense SmartForm Fill to populate our webforms on our website.

Pros

  • Search Intent
  • Ad network
  • Email reports daily/weekly
  • Segment criteria and filters
  • Exclusion list to ignore certain companies
  • SmartForm fill to populate webforms

Cons

  • Documentation
  • Needs to improve the way web pages are managed in segmentation
  • Need to ID individual visitor, not the company
  • More pipeline generated
  • Monitoring of prospect activity while in pipeline
  • Larger deal sizes through filters and targeting
6sense identifies companies with specific targeted attributes, and whether they have engaged in our website or shown search intent on keywords. It is very effective at providing insights that our sales and marketing teams can act upon. Our sales team receives territory-specific activity reports each morning, with a weekly recap, and they use it to follow up with the companies listed. This is very helpful in targeting/retargeting based on desirable attributes and behavior. 6sense integrates with HubSpot and Salesforce, so these signals can be shown in the account within our CRM as well. The segments can be shared with LinkedIn and used for targeted ad campaigns within LinkedIn, which is a great trick. Very effective.
We looked at other ABM platforms and have stuck with 6sense for 3 years now. The migration to another service would be a heavy lift, and we have had no reason to explore other options since committing and fully utilizing 6sense. It also feels like they work to enhance their features so it is evolving in a way that adds more value.

Do you think 6sense delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with 6sense's feature set?

Yes

Did 6sense live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of 6sense go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy 6sense again?

Yes

6sense gives you insights into search intent and web visits, with some ways to be notified and act upon the insights through sales and marketing efforts. It is quite expensive so you need to go "all in" to get the value back from the service. We find it helps us to target companies, but the ad network has not been effective for us. But that is true of many ad platforms. 6sense has predictive modeling features that are not a part of our service level we pay for, and so sometimes we get interested in a feature that we'd need to pay more to see. That can be frustrating. But we still get enough value from the service to maintain it as a vendor.
