Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I needed a more integrated follow-up system for active email subscribers. I used to use Mailchimp, which was a really simple way to email blast everyone or a particular segment once or in a static series. ActiveCampaign allows me to track subscriber activity on my website, auto-assign tags, and trigger customer path emails in a more robust, yet still simple, way.

Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Zapier, IFTTT and Highrise

ActiveCampaign is the best alternative to Mailchimp if you want to take your email to the next level. The amount of integrations and control is better than any platform I've used. It's modular and makes building automated, yet personal. Touches with your leads, customers, and business partners are a breeze. Highly recommend!

The automation feature is world-class and affordable. Imagine literally any type of trigger or activity a potential customer could have with you online or done manually. Got it? Now imagine sending them a perfectly timed email or receiving a notification to complete a task anytime that action occurs. This is ActiveCampaign working its magic. I would like to see more integrations with their task system. Right now you either have to go all-in with their tasks (not ideal) or send an automated email (not ideal). Their integration with Zapier is phenomenal, except when it comes to tasks. You pretty much cannot integrate their tasks with Asana, Trello, or any other task management software.
