Overall Satisfaction with ActivTrak

I studied the ActivTrak functions on the portal and introduced them to the users. I also helped users to understand better and more effectively using ActivTrak as a monitoring tool.

Pros

  • Track user activities.
  • Define criteria for effective vs not effective.
  • Customize summary report function.

Cons

  • Be able to see live activity of users.
  • Some users feel like they are spying on.
  • It truly improved the work efficiency.
  • Self-define criteria for productive vs non-productive. it filters out the user activities that we need to know.
We all work from home now; it's challenging to know when and how long the employee spends on their job. ActivTrak helps to monitor and quantify the data (activities), so we can bring out the solution and ask employees to improve it.
The data is objective. Without data proof, it's hard to persuade users.
I didn't use ActivTrak that deep.
