Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

ADP Workforce Now is used for our timekeeping, payroll processing, benefits, and human resources. The custom and standard reports available in ADP are used in our accounting and financials. The product is used primarily by our accounting department, however our employees are also using it directly for tracking their time, benefits, and pay statements. We have also implemented tracking of work skills in order to allow our employees to advance in their positions. Department managers are able to manage their report to employees, approve requests for working overtime, and requests for time off.
  • ADP Workforce Now is well ahead of their competitors in the payroll department. It is possible to track for job costing, and they are accurate. In the 15 years I have used ADP we have never seen a payroll error on their end.
  • ADP Workforce Now does a great job of timekeeping, and offers many options making it very flexible for meeting the needs of any type of company.
  • The most important strength ADP Workforce Now offers is the payroll related tax reporting and payment of payroll related taxes. There has never been a time we have had to worry about a report not being filed, or the funds not being submitted in a timely manner. If there has ever been a question, ADP has promptly taken care of the response and provided accurate documentation to all parties involved.
  • Quicker response from the support lines in answering the call. This would require hiring and training of more support staff, which I understand ADP has been doing... ACA having taken it's toll on support stall at all companies.
  • Taking care of clean up on old issues, some having been escalated to upper management. It would be nice to hear how they are proceeding.
  • Would like to be able to pull the Pay Data to a spreadsheet program for manipulation and entry of payroll. Would save time for our data entry payroll department.
  • ADP Workforce Now is a working partner. Utilizing the product has saved time and money for our accounting department.
  • The timekeeping program allows us to utilize department and job tracking.
  • The custom reporting options and having all of the employee related functions in one program, helps to generate information and reports that used to take hours to pull together.
Our company used ADP prior to Workforce Now. We tried PayChex for one year 11 years ago, however did not like the functionality and time required to process a payroll. We returned to ADP, then tried Paylocity...that lasted one small payroll, as our payroll clerk was extremely dissatisfied with the product. I was on the telephone with our ADP representative asking what ADP could do to help us remedy our error in moving to paylocity. ADP was great, they explained the ADP Workforce Now product. Helped us return to ADP in time to do a full payroll the following week, and helped to collect the information from Paylocity in time to do the first quarter report in a timely manner. This was a difficult task as Paylocity was less than forthcoming with the reports we needed to provide. The Paylocity support team finally admitted they could not do the what they claimed in the demo. Waste of time and a lot of money. ADP Workforce Now has proven to us they will be there when we need them.
With the overall functionality of ADP Workforce Now, I cannot imagine an operation that would not be able to successfully utilize the product. Perhaps a company with no employees, and no payroll or benefits. ADP Workforce Now is a great product with full functionality! We tried other payroll companies before we knew ADP had Workforce Now. We quickly returned to ADP once we learned of the Workforce Now product, due to the confidence we had in ADP.
