Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

ADP Workforce Now is being used as our main system for all HR and payroll related transactions or inquiries. It is used by the entire organization. It addresses the problems of using manual systems for payroll entry and questions regarding HR matters.
  • Benefit information is readily available to employees eliminating questions directly to our HR and Payroll Department.
  • Request for sick time or vacation time can be easily accessed through the workforce portal.
  • Benefits enrollment has been streamlined this year, since employees can enter information instead of the HR department manually entering all employee information.
  • Calculations seem to be off at times or wrong when calculating sick time or vacation time.
  • Type of pay for employees time cards can easily be changed which can cause issues if it was incorrectly switched. There should be a confirmation button for those changes on the employee end.
  • More flexibility with pay periods would benefit companies that don't use standard pay periods
  • It has had a positive impact for our employees. They seem really impressed with the accessibility to make changes directly through the portal and add on to objectives or personal goals.
  • It has had a negative impact internally for our payroll specialist due to the amount of time needed to enter special data information for our union workers.
  • It has had a positive impact on our HR department, streamlining the benefit enrollment process for the HR department, removing the manual entry process entirely.
Our HR team has saved time, but I'm not sure how much. - ADP workforce now definitely has saved a lot of time for our HR department. It has removed the time needed for employees to ask us questions regarding sick time balances and vacation balances, inquiries on pay, time card information, and most importantly has streamlined the benefit enrollment process.
Besides People Soft's most recent update to Oracle, these systems are outdated and not user-friendly for employees like ADP Workforce Now.
ADP workforce now is not suitable for employees that work for unions or need special types of hours added each week. It is not very flexible when it comes to pay for union workers.

ADP workforce now is more suitable for salary employees or hourly employees that do not have a lot of details needed for their time entry.
